Tuve la oportunidad de hacer voluntariado en WET hostel y la experiencia fue increíble. Fui responsable de gestionar las redes sociales del lugar, Loren te proporciona un PDF con instrucciones. Lo mejor de todo fue la flexibilidad que ofrecieron: me dieron total libertad para organizar mi tiempo y adaptarme a las actividades del hostal. Además, el ambiente era relajado y amigable, y pude conocer a un montón de gente interesante de todas partes del mundo. Sin duda, fue una experiencia enriquecedora tanto a nivel profesional como personal. ¡Recomiendo totalmente este voluntariado!

I really enjoyed volunteering at WET hostel. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the tasks are easy to complete. You will work longer hours during the week of the full moon party, but after that you will have plenty of flexibility to explore the island. The hostel offers many advantages, such as accommodation and entrance to the main parties. I enjoyed volunteering and I am grateful for the generous welcome I received 😊

Overall I'm happy I volunteered at WET hostel! The tasks were pretty easy, mostly party promoting around the island, taking over the social media account and organising tournaments like beer-pong or just in general making the guests feel welcome and socialising with them and getting them to join the party. Basically you only work 5 days during the 5 day full moon party. It's a lot of partying. Be ready! The 14 bed volunteer room could definitely have been cleaner, especially the bathrooms. Other than that I had a great time, met lots of cool people. Thanks Sao and team!!

The experience was good. People I worked with were so nice, and we did a lot of plans together. The accommodation and the facilities were not the best but the tasks u have to do are so easy. If u are not a social person, don't go to this hostel. I recommend u to go on the full moon!! It was amazing :)

I met many people from all over the world and even locals. Very flexible and relaxed, the beach is a 3 minute walk away. Being a volunteer was good, rooms were shared, many bathrooms but in times of drought there was not much water and the issue of food was to buy food in supermarkets and restaurants. An experience that I would repeat again.

It was very nice to be free to choose a motive and a place to paint on with as many utensils as I needed and self chosen work hours. There's many volunteers so you can have a great social team and most of the staff is super lovely! However, specific staff members caused unpleasant athmosphere and also when some of my belongings were taken away by the children of staff members, the host hesitated to pay me back for weeks (the parent's of the children cared about it tho). The volunteer dorm is not really clean nor comfy. Overall I had a very good time due to lovely volunteers and painting!!

I stayed for 3,5 weeks, which was a bit too much for me. I'd recommend about 2-2,5 weeks :) I only had to work the days around full moon, so it's super chill! Maybe not the cleanest hostel etc but depends on if that's important to you. In the end I really enjoyed my stay and made really good friends!
