I had an amazing 10 days with Hardi! His communication from the start was really good and clear, which made the commute to the town very easy. The 10 days were a perfect balance of chilled and exploring and meeting the community. I learned so much about Temanggung during my stay and got to see some amazing places and meet lovely people. It can't go unsaid about his wife Dia's amazing home cooked food every evening which was a real highlight!! If you want to live like a local and immerse yourself in the local culture I can't recommend enough

I spent 10 days with Hardy and his family and it was, without doubt, one of the most valuable experiences I've ever had. 12/10, would recommend to everyone. I've eaten the best food ever (his wife is an incredible cook!!), seen the most amazing, untouched nature and had great, deep talks with Hardy and his friends. There is no fixed schedule, as he doesn't want to force anything, which I absolutely loved. My highlight was the extraordinary people I was able to meet here. They are all incredibly welcoming and kind-hearted. Hardy and his family will always have a special place in my heart🥰

Great way to learn about Javanese culture and interact with locals! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. There is a bit of a culture shock, especially if you are from the western countries, but that is part of the experience. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an immersive Indonesian experience.

I had an experience that left my heart heavy. It was a truly emotional and profound encounter. Every moment was filled with deep feelings and meaning, and it's something that will stay with me for a long time. While it wasn't easy, I appreciate the opportunity to have had such a impactful experience. Your reasonable needs could be compromise with Hardi. That's for sure. Dinner? Say less, hands down to the best in the house diyah.*she can bake too* If I could write a paragraph, I would. This is not my goodbye but my see you later. I'll see you guys soon but this time round, in Singapore!

The experience was very good and it is exactly what you are looking for if you are interested in learning about a local culture. The culture shock is easy to deal with Hardy because you can talk and debate about all topics with him. Dyah, his wife, makes you feel at home, she was my mother during these ten days. Besides, her food is the most delicious. The meetings with the people of Temanggung were amazing and the city is perfect if you are looking to connect with nature. I recommend it 100%, but only if you are willing to live like a local.

Sodaly I am not able to give 6 starts 😁 My experience here was amazing if you would like to meet locals, Get a better understanding of Javanese culture, get to view some amazing places, have a deep talk with the host ( He is very knowledgeable and smart) this would be a place for you and you will feel lucky to bee here

This really was an awesome and memorable experience. You are going to live like a local and the food is as authentic as it gets. If you want to get in touch with real Javanese culture, meet locals and see real beautiful nature without mass tourism, go for it!

Had the best time in Temanggung with Hardy and his lovely family! They were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. They really made sure I had the best and most authentic experience possible! I got to see so many beautiful places and Temanggung really is such an underrated region! From waterfalls to amazing sunsets and experiences with the locals, the schedule covered everything. Supporting Hardi with his content creation and getting footage for social media to promote tourism together was super fun. All in all, I would definitely recommend this Worldpackers experience!

Temmanggung is an undiscovered wonderful place where you can be in contact with nature 24/7.We had the opportunity to meet some locals and they were all so kind and welcoming and always with a big smile on their faces. Hardi and his family made us feel like home since the first moment and we got immersed in the Javanese life. I'm grateful to have met them and for the experience. Just be aware that the life conditions are humble and you should be flexible with the schedules and different plans.Communication is sometimes not fluid but there's always a way to make things work out for both sides.

I had a great time with this World Packer experience. Hardy introduced me to the locals so I can help them with English, and learn about the Java culture. Temanggung is a great village with beautiful landscape, and the locales are super friendly. Hardy's family was super welcoming, and I felt part of the family. Hardy also gave me tips about photography for improvement.I highly recommend if you like to immerse yourself in the local culture.
