This year I wanted to volunteer at a place where I could meet people and I believe that the hostel fulfilled my wish. we worked from 11-15 as agreed and the tasks were manageable and pretty easy. the organization was a bit chaotic and the volunteers pretty much taught each other, the owners and workers did not really care that much about us (understandable since there were a lot of people coming and going) the whole experience was more about the other volunteers, I was very lucky bcs i was there with an amazing group of people who made the experience unforgettable, I miss them already.

I had a really nice stay. There is a lot of other volunteers. The work is easy and hours are respected. You live in a room with 5 other people with one bathroom. However, I became sick during my stay, and the host told me that if I dont work, I have to pay for my stay at the hostel, which I find a bit odd.

Thank you for a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Yes we do charge every day if its longer than 1 day what is free day in a week, but we gave 50%discount on it, and at the end you just switched a day off with another girl so you didnt even needed to pay ✌️

It was a truly useful and challenging experience. I could speak english and spanish and learn how to manage different tasks in the hostel. I improved my ability to solve problems and met people from all over the world . Eva and Mia helped me at all times and made me feel at home. Thank you very much❤️

This was my first volunteering experience and I really enjoyed it! The other volunteers immediately made me feel so welcome and we became like a family. The housekeeping work is easy and would often be finished within 2-3 hours so plenty of free time to explore Zagreb, and the centre is very easy to reach by tram. There was never any confusion about what needed to be done and Mia and Eva were helpful when minor situations arose. All I can say is it gets quite hot when working, so be ready to sweat! I definitely would recommend the hostel if you're looking to meet some great people :)

The other voluntaries were really nice, so the exspirience was nice! The hostel is nothing of special, I would not chose it us a guest!

I really enjoyed my time here at the hostel! I met some lovely people and it had a great feel of community. Only thing I would suggest is the hostel invest a bit in things for the hostel such as bed lining and working air con as this would make the process for both hostel volunteers and guests better.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y tuve una muy buena experiencia. Aunque, habría sido correcto que se dijera las tareas específicas en la descripción de la oferta. Ya que, para la recepción nocturno no solo fue hacer check in/out sino también realizar tareas de housekeeper en el hostal y en su bar.

It was lots of fun! I certainly recommend :) hours were fair and the tasks are very simple and fair!! The staff were lovely and so were the volunteers i met during my stay. I would certainly recommend this opportunity to someone else!
