Ce fut une expérience incroyable. J'ai été très bien accueillie et accompagnée lors de cette mission. Les tâches étaient variées et intéressantes et en lien avec chacun des acteurs du la communauté center : l'entretien du lieu, le soin au tortues du Centre, la récupération des nouveaux nés après l'éclosion des oeufs, la remise à l'eau devant le public, la pratique de l'anglais avec l'équipe du Centre pour faciliter l'accueil des touristes étrangers… Je me sens privilégiée d'avoir pu vivre cette expérience et j'en garderai le souvenir pour toujours.

I stayed at the community Conservation Pangumbahan for a little over 2 weeks. Since I was one of the first volunteers, activities and daily tasks weren't as clear from the start. However we did get to go on a hiking trip to some waterfalls and sea kayaking! Although these were spontaneous plans I'm glad we got to do such activities. As for the daily procedures there's only little work to do. Feeding the turtles, sometimes changing the water and sweeping leaves i the mornings and releasing them in the afternoon. In between there's a long break period, that we'd sometimes use for beach cleaning.
