Detalhes

Volunteering at Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre is about contributing to the daily running of an established equine rescue.

Tasks vary depending on the season and the needs of the animals, but typically include:
• Feeding horses and donkeys
• Cleaning paddocks and stable areas
• General outdoor work in the fields
• Basic maintenance and practical tasks
• Helping to keep shared spaces safe and organised

This is a hands-on, physical role carried out outdoors in all weather conditions. The work is essential and sometimes repetitive, but always meaningful.

No professional experience is required. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, reliability, and respect for both animals and people. Volunteers are supported and guided, but are expected to take responsibility for their role and work independently when needed.

The centre is calm and purposeful, focused on animal welfare rather than tourism. We aim to create a respectful, supportive and low-drama working environment.

For safety reasons, we can only accept volunteers aged 18 or over.

Atividades & Turnos

Volunteers are generally expected to help around 4 hours per day, with one day off per week.

Work is usually scheduled in the morning, although exact timings may vary depending on the season, weather and daily needs of the centre.

This role suits people who are comfortable with routine, physical work, and a quieter environment. The schedule is structured but realistic, and we encourage volunteers to listen to their bodies and work safely.
