Working at the hostel was a great experience, Toti was great as a manager and we loved the people we were working with. What I think was a bit of a bummer was that activities people worked less hours than the volunteers in the bar area and still got more free meals bc they worked more shifts (btw the meals tend to be really small for the most part!). Also because there was essentially no space in our room I had to put my clothes next to mouldy walls for most of the time. Nevertheless, we'd totally recommend working at the hostel and we're happy for all of the friends we made!! <3

I had an amazing time at the hostel and met lots of inspiring people:) The work in the bar was easy and mostly calm, but it was at times hard being out in the heat 6 hours straight! But all in all I enjoyed my stay in Bacalar at the hostel and made memories with the staff I will remember for a long time:D

Definitivamente el hostel es un hermoso , no vivimos en el mismo pero es a una cuadra que es súper cerca . Se cumple todo lo acordado , Federico es más que un líder es un amigo, siempre está para ayudarte . Las actividades son muy divertidas y sencillas de realizar, tenemos muchos beneficios . Si me preguntan si volvería al hostel .. diría que si !!

El hostel y su gente es excelente! Fuimos a un voluntariado en pareja con Gonzalo. Nos permitieron trabajar juntos y tener los mismos días libres. Cubrimos puestos de mesero y cajero. Tienen muchísimos benificios. El hostel es HERMOSO, con salida a la laguna y recibe turismo de todo tipo. A dos minutos se encuentra Pueblo Viejo, en donde convivimos con el resto de trabajadores y voluntarios, un lugar super especial. Quiero agradecer a Yahjab, nuestro coordinador por ser una gran persona. Voluntariado totalmente recomendable. GRACIAS!

Nuestro voluntariado en el hostel ha sido realmente increíble, vamos a extrañar mucho ese lugar y la hermosa familia del hostel. el hostel es parte de una empresa, por lo que esta todo super organizado, las actividades están bien delimitadas, y tus responsables están siempre cerca ante cualquier necesidad. Tanto Yajhab como Mari siempre estuvieron atentos de nuestra estancia. 1 Los cuartos quedan a 2 minutos del hostel, en un lugar donde convives con el Staff, y tiene lo lindo de convivir con gente de todos lados, y aunque esta un poco descuidado, estan arreglandolo. Gracias a toda la familia del hostel♡

Me encantó voluntariar en el hostel, sin duda una experiencia maravillosa, todos del staff son súper buena onda y están dispuestos a ayudarte en todo! Ojo no vives en el hostal, vives en una casa de solo staff que queda como a 2 minutos caminando del hostel, de cualquier forma puedes pasar el tiempo en el hostel ✨🫶🏻

The hostel was a lovely place to work. The whole team really felt like one big family. Plus spending most of the days hosting activities along the lagoon was lovely. Really made a great impression on me and I feel like the next hostel I work at will have a lot to live up to.
