Eu recomendo muito The Valley, adorei o tempo que passei no hostel, a equipe é maravilhosa e solicita, as horas de trabalho são respeitadas e as refeições dadas muito gostosas.

Simplemente um dos melhores voluntariados que já estive. A equipe de staff foi realmente uma família, fizemos grandes amizades e trocamos experiências. As tarefas foram bem explicadas e todos os horários respeitados. As refeições são bem feitas e bem gostosas. O lugar é um paraíso, o hostel é lindo de todos os ângulos, tem passeios para fazer bem próximos e há poucos minutos do parque. Super recomendado, eu voltaria sem dúvida nenhuma. Muchas gracias por todo, hermanos!

Nem nos meus melhores sonhos eu imaginaria que viveria o que vivi nessas últimas 2 semanas. Estive no hostel fazendo música (que é uma das coisas que mais amo na vida) e conhecendo as maravilhas do caribe colombiano. Eu não sei como é o paraíso e nem se ele existe, mas caso exista, deve parecer muito com esse lugar. Pra ser sincero ainda parece um devaneio meu. Só tenho a agradecer aos donos do hostel por abrir as portas pra mim, ao staff por me receber tão bem e a todos os voluntários e viajantes que conheci/convivi! + Um agradecimento especial a Angela ♥️ Vida longa ao o hostel!

The hostel is beautiful right in the middle of nature. The staff is really nice, and you get to practice your Spanish with them, as well speaking English. The guests were also very nice, in all ages. The work consisted of bartending, and kitchen work. The bar was nice since I like speaking to costumers, and the kitchen was great for practicing my Spanish. On your days off there is plenty to do around the area. Overall my experience was great and I would definetely recommend it!

Dos semanas que pasaron muy rápido. El hotel es conexión con la naturaleza, las condiciones del voluntariado están muy bien (comidas vegetarianas, piscina, turnos, etc.) pero sin duda, lo mejor de the valley es el equipo de trabajadores que tienen (el bar, los de construcción y mantenimiento, cocina y recepción). Son cercanos, amables y siempre dispuestos a trabajar con buen humor y ganas.

Una experiencia inmersiva maravillosa en la naturaleza!Estuvimos dos semanas en el hostel y fue genial.El trabajo fue variado,la primera semana estuvimos en diferentes turnos ayudando con el staff de cocina y bar,aprendimos mucho y fue ameno.La segunda semana estaban de renovación y ayudamos a barnizar diferentes espacios.Las comidas todas deliciosas y variadas,con proteína vegetal!Todo el personal es amable y atento,gracias a Laura,Alba,Yael,Paul,Yair,Héctor,Karima,Ricardo, Verónica,Liss y todo el equipo.Gran experiencia de voluntariado,con incluso noche gratis en otro hostel asociado.THANKS!

Es una linda experiencia, vivir rodeado de selva y en un lugar tan lindo. Se cumple con todo lo arreglado . Ea muy bueno porque al trabajar con el staff hay un intercambio cultural ya que son gente local. Y el dueño en particular es muy amable con los voluntarios

El hostal está a 40 min de Santa Marta, pero es un lugar FANTÁSTICO para hacer voluntariado (o alojarse). Fue tan genial que extendí mi voluntariado unos días. La gente es muy amable y divertida, y respetan los horarios de trabajo y descanso. ¡Muchas gracias! Muy recomendable. 😍

My experience volunteering at the Valley was very rewarding. The staff and management are truly focused on making me feel welcomed and cared for. They were constantly asking if my needs were met. The hours of work were fair, in fact most of the time I only taught two classes of yoga per day and that was it, only in a few occasions I was asked to help in the kitchen or bbq.. I was able to interact with locals, other volunteers & guests from around the world. During my time there I was able to learn nombre about my self and how I relate to others. I feel grateful for the experience.

The Valley is such an amazing hostel and I had a great time volunteering here!! The location is super unique with beautiful views, it feels secluded without being too far, and it is close to things to do like Tayrona park, Palomino, and several beaches. The pool is great too! The food here was absolutely incredible. Even with a language barrier the permanent staff are very friendly, helpful, and fun to work with. I definitely improved my Spanish a bit. Sometimes 30 hours a week felt like too much as we could be sitting around for half the shift but it was super chill. Great experience!!!
