My experience volunteering at the hostel has been great! I've enjoyed it a lot. The tasks weren't difficult and the hours worked were very respected. They even take into account if you would like certain free days or to get them in a row, which was something I was really grateful for. The only thing that might have not been the best experience is that a part of the staff weren't that nice toward volunteers. But aside from that, an overall nice experience

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Tasks and hours were fair - a mix of bartending and cleaning, as expected. The room was comfy and the bathrooms clean. The guest kitchen was sometimes quite dirty though. The team kindly allowed the Worldpackers to join in for their open bar drinks after their team meeting, and all reception staff were lovely and more than happy to help you! The main issues were a lack of formal training for the bar shifts - you were expected to ask for help as you went. Also, dinner was only provided 3 or 4 times over the month which affected budgeting.

Met bunch of new people. Great place to practice your language skills- communication is a key to understand the tasks needed to be done. dinner wasn't included- but the breakfast was great! I've been learning tons since my experience there. Really well located as well.

My experience was incredible! The team is super nice and welcoming, tasks are easy, the room was great. 10/10, loved my time here, I wish I could have stayed longer.

My experience was wonderful!! The hostel is in an excellent location, the staff are very friendly. They have delicious breakfast. My job was helping at the hostel bar and cleaning and other tasks when asked. I really loved it, it's a place I would definitely go back to. Thanks for everything :)

Ideal para packers independentes e possíveil p/ quem trabalha remoto. O hostel tem muitas famílias e grupos, não é estilo party hostel, então, é muito tranquilo. As acomodações são ótimas, café da manhã completo e gostoso. Equipe querida e atenciosa. Bem localizado: 1min do terminal de ônibus (Flixbus) e 3min da estação de trem. 10min do centro da cidade e principais lojas. Trabalhei pouco no bar e mais na manutenção, o que foi ótimo, desenvolver uma nova habilidade. Horas respeitadas, bem flexível, recomendo. Obrigada a Tanja e Carlos por tudo.

I loved this place!! The staff is amazing and everyone is friendly, the tasks are simply and they teach you how to do them, they are very patient and understanding. You will get to connect with the locals and get to know leipzig. Really not know what else to say, i will leave this place with nothing more than great memories ❤️

It was an incredible journey! The whole experience is better than anyone could even imagine! The main idea is that if you want to come here, you need to be social, friendly, flexible and willing to help everyone around the hostel. We're grateful and we made lots of friends. (We're not sure if Matthias actually exists or if he's just a concept 😂)

A great way to experience the hostel meet some wonderful people. The staff is amazing; everyone here was friendly, helpful, and just fun to work with. The amount of work is very reasonable and management is accommodating with requests, so it is a great place if you're also working online or want to venture outside the city. Although this place felt more like a the hostel there were not as many opportunities to socialize with the guests, I really valued getting to know the staff and making local friends to better experience the culture.

The hostel is incredible, the room is comfortable, the staff I had contact with are very nice and the city is small, but beautiful! I only stayed for a week as another volunteer would arrive to take my place and I worked very little. The day I went to see the manager, in the day after I arrived, she was off work. So I just asked the employees how I could be useful and help. I didn't receive a schedule! The breakfast is very good and varied. You can save food for later as there is only dinner on days when the hostel receives large groups of young people or teams.
