Truly the most memorable and wholesome volunteering experience of my life Got to meet amazing people from all around the world, very social, everyone was incredibly welcoming Especially the pub crawl that they offer is more than exciting, you can easily have the most unforgettable nights there All the staffs are so kind and caring, John, Tarik, Seyf and ofc Zaman the dog, who is the most adorable staff member Definitely recommend volunteering here in this iconic city with such lovely staff !!

I had a truly great time at the hostel, i felt really welcomed and everyone was really nice! i got to taste all of the amazing food they cooked and was free to participate in any activity the hostel offered for the guests. istanbul is an amazing city and i got to discover so much of it. the working hours were respected and murat was really flexible and adapted my schedule if i wanted to work different hours. all in all i loved it and i will come back :))

It was the most fun volunteering experience so far. I made friends that I will keep for life, I went to lots of parties and there was no shortage of good food and fun. Working at the bar was great for me because I want to improve my English, and at the bar I practice all the time. Everyone who works at the hostel is attentive, super friendly and helpful, and the work in general is easy. Thanks the hostel ❤️

Volunteering here was such a great experience! even though I was for a short time, I felt so welcomed from day one. EVERYONE was always kind, supportive and made everything amazing. I'm really grateful for the opportunity and for how amazing everyone was. I enjoyed every shift and the atmosphere was always positive and fun. The hostel is in a perfect location and even got the chance to explorer the city. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for meaningful and enjoyable experience. Experencia divertida! Muchas actividades y socialización. Todos fueron super amables desde el comienzo y me trataron muy bien. Seif una gran persona! Vista increible desde el lugar de trabajo. El cuarto tambien estuvo siempre super bien. Aki muy amable siempre también. El chef cocinó la mejor comida que he probado, Fatih y Ozman los más divertidos. Murat el mejor de todos. Terak un jefe muy abierto y comprensivo con sus trabajadores. Lo recomiendo totalmente, el mejor social hostel de Istanbul!

This hostal was great , the staff which I absolutely carry in my heart for good , they made my stay and job easy , comfortable and amusing , I met wonderful travelers , and made great connections all around the world , the boss who am absolutely grateful to was flexible and kind. I left a little earlier and at the last minute due to personal reasons. I stayed there for 3 weeks, the breakfast is delicious and varied. The kitchen girls are lovely, and the staff really care about you and make sure you're doing well. Although it's a good place, very active and close to tourist spots, I think it's not a volunteer experience for everyone, in my case, I prefer a quieter place to work. But overall, the volunteering is good: the tasks are simple. I recommend it more for someone who doesn't work online and wants to be in a more social, party-oriented environment. Thank you ❤️

My first volunteering experience — and honestly life-changing! the hostel is such a social hostel, with amazing family dinners that made it super easy to meet people. The staff felt like family, and even though we had a small misunderstanding in the first week, we solved it quickly and everything after was perfect. I helped in the kitchen with two wonderful Turkish girls ❤️ Communication was fun since they spoke Russian! It was also my first time in Istanbul, and after a month I completely fell in love with the city. Definitely recommend both the hostel and the experience!

Estuve durante un mes voluntariando en el hostel y mi experiencia fue buena. Realice el turno de 8 a 2pm apoyando en el desayuno y realizado el cleaning de las habitaciones y los baños Durante mi estadia no hubo otros voluntarios asi que fue un poco solitario pero todo el personal fue muy amable conmigo y siempre se preocupo de que me sintiera comoda. Es un party hostel por lo que siempre tienes la posibilidad de salir a divertirte, compartir con otros viajeros o salir a recorrer la ciudad. La ubicacion del hostel es perfecta y te permite explorar facil Estambul.

My experience at Cheers Hostel couldn't have been better. The staff helped me adapt quickly in the first few days. My tasks included helping in the kitchen during breakfast and assisting with cleaning in the mornings. Every day, I was entitled to breakfast. Over time, I began to feel like they were my family. They are very fun and attentive, truly showcasing the Turkish culture of generosity, respect, and fun at the same time. I am really grateful for their support during the last few days I felt safe and protected. Thank you for everything, and I hope to see you all again. Love u guys. <3
