The best experience I've had so far as a volunteer. The hostel is in the city center, and everything you need is nearby. Robin and Naoko are amazing people and very flexible with everything. The tasks are super easy and clear to do. Most of the day is free to enjoy the city and its incredible surrounding nature. There's a very nice vibe. I felt very comfortable with the rest of the staff. I recommend it 100%.

The stay at the hostel in Tromsø was absolutely amazing. It being my first world packers experience, so I was quite nervous before coming here. However, I was absolutely well taken care off by the hosts and other volunteers. The atmosphere in the hostel is very cozy and comfortable and it is easy to get into contact with people. Additionally, the schedule is respected and the working hours are very flexible, which means that there is enough time to explore this beautiful part of the world!!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and the hostel quickly became my home away from home. Us volunteers clicked right away and became a little family- loved it!! The hosts are super flexible and so kind<3 I had an incredible time here and would highly recommend it to anyone interested - here's your sign to go for it!!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! Naoko and Robin are doing an amazing job at creating a social and cosy atmosphere, the hostel feels like home and the team is family! The hours are really reasonable and flexible, that leaves a lot of time to explore Tromso. The city is beautiful with a lot of activities to do as well! I wish I could have stayed longer and I hope to come back and visit soon! If you're thinking about volunteering here, go for it!! I'm gonna miss Burger the most, he is the best of the good boy ! Thank you Naoko and thank you Robin for having me!

My time at the hostel was truly incredible. From the start, the team made me feel at home, and the place itself was pure charm with breathtaking views. Every part of my stay exceeded expectations. The friendly vibe made it easy to connect with guests and staff quickly. Plus, the volunteer tasks were a breeze, often taking less time than expected, giving me plenty of time to explore Tromsø. Saying goodbye was tough— I already miss the awesome people I met. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

I had an AMAZING experience! I enjoyed volunteering at the hostel and everybody is very welcoming and nice! Working hours are respected and you have a lot of free time to visit the city and especially be in contact with nature! I was also able to see the nothern lights several time!!! I really recommand this place. Thank you Naoko and Robin and I see you very soon!

My friend and I joined this volunteer experience, and it's an absolute gem! The hostel is snug, welcoming, and perfect for those who prefer a calm, cozy environment over a loud party scene. There's always someone to chat with or to join for a drink or Northern Lights adventure! The work is simple, often finishing early, giving you plenty of time to explore, though the city is a bit pricey! Naoko and Robin, the managers, are wonderful and make great hosts. An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the Northern wonders!

Tromsø the hostel was my second experience like volunteer and it's was really nice! The tasks were like the descripcion and always the owner respect the schedule. You have enough free time to spend with other volunteers and guest and I can go and visit areas around Tromsø. Robin and Naoko were marvelous with me but I need to say that the best thing that I had in my experience was the volunteers team ☺️. Thank u so much for all! If you need an advice … I recommend u that u go to this hotel! Always it'll be in my heart! ❤️ 😊

This hostel truly feels like home from the beginning, it felt like my own. Robin, Naoko and Alex are very nice and flexible people. The daily work never takes more than 2 hours, so volunteers have a lot of time to experience the city, the nature or even work in Tromso. The staff is amazing, like a small, international family, the town is lovely, there are many things to do in the area, for example aurora tours, dog sledging, reindeer feeding, whale watching, hiking, etc. This is the best place if you want to meet a lot of different people! It was the best experience! Will love Burger forever!
