Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia Worldpackers, y Alban y su hostel dejan el listón muy alto. Alban es una persona excepcional, con una calidad humana y un corazón enormes. Disfrute muchísimo trabajando con el en su proyecto y las charlas que compartíamos. Me enseñó mucho de permacultura, de trabajar inteligentemente, de la vida y me sirvió de inspiración y espejo. Horario flexible y auto gestionado, realmente hace honor a la palabra voluntariado. Ha sido un regalo de vida compartir 3 semanas en el hostel.

Infelizmente houve um contratempo e o voluntariado não aconteceu neste momento. Mas merece a 5 estrelas, pois, Alban sempre foi solícito e flexível. Houve uma compreensão e proposta futura!

Albano é um anfitrião muito flexível em relação aos horários de trabalho e folga. Mas alguns mal entendidos aconteceram, como a falta da alimentação combinada e o ambiente dos dormitórios onde ficam os voluntários. Tirando isso, foi muito divertido participar e ajudar nas atividades do Hostel.

Albano is very flexible with work hours, a really good person, we didn't stayed on the place that shows in the pictures but it was ok. Some volunteers worked more than others, I felt that is not organized at all, but it's a place with really good people!

Albano was always very nice and flexible, however the lack of organization was sometimes a problem because there were volunteers that worked way less than the others. Also, we were supposed to get one meal per day during our stay but we never got a single meal and that was disappointing. Plus, we didn't get to stay at the place showed in the pictures, we were put downstairs in a much dirtier area. Overall it was a nice experience, we met nice people, and did our part! We ended up staying less than expected but we worked more than expected also, so that worked out in the end.

Thank you for all your help. It was really exceptional.
Sorry you felt a lack of organization. You participated in project involving 4 floors and a garden. Honestly we have never been more organized. :D
Than for the meal, as far as i know our positions do not offer food but if there was a mistake you could have told me something during your stay.
The downstairs dirtier area has been the staff room for the last 2 years...
Anyhow thank you again and best of luck with your travels.

My experience at the hostel was very good, even off season I could visit a lot of places around Saranda and my work times were very flexible. The staff room is very good and private and the work tasks simple and easy to learn.

I really recommend this experience. Albano is a very flexible person with good energy. The work is very easy and as it is described. He gives you a very nice volunteer department. I would really go back to that place.

My experience in the hostel was incredible, i have no words for what i did in this two weeks that looked like two days. I loved to work in the reception of the hostel, i think will help me in the future to in terms of social communication and the best part was to meet so many people from all over the world and i learned so much and had a lot of fun with them, i will never forget them. Albania is an amazing country, the beaches are really beautiful and the ocean is so clean. Albano is such a nice host, and he is really kind and helped us in everything, i just loved to meet him

Meu primeiro voluntariado foi no hostel, não poderia ter sido em um lugar melhor, só tenho a agradecer ao Alban que é o dono e ao Marco (que teve muita paciência pelas dificuldades com meu inglês bem básico hehe) por serem tão solícitos e acolhedores e por me ajudarem a ter uma experiência inesquecível e maravilhosa na Albânia... Recomendo muito para todos os worldpackers !

Minha estadia no hostel foi a melhor possível , Albano o dono do hostel e Marco o rapaz que fica na recepção , eles são incríveis, muito atenciosos e se você tiver qualquer dúvida eles procuram ao máximo te ajudar, só tenho a agradecer a estas duas pessoas 🙏🙏
