Esas semanas estuvieron muy bien, mi compañero y yo disfrutamos de ir al hostel varias veces y hacer alguna otra excursión. Las trabajadoras eran muy simpáticas y estuvimos muy a gusto con ellas, al igual que con Alex. El trabajo era sencillo y relajado, y el hostel tiene muy buenas instalaciones, así que se está muy a gusto, y el entorno natural también fue encantador.

Tuve muy buena experiencia, el trabajo es sencillo y relajado (mayormente de limpieza), las instalaciones están súper bien y el entorno es precioso, además de estar muy cerca del parque natural del volcán arenal. Tanto Alex como el resto del personal son muy amables y se ocuparán de que estés agusto en todo momento.

This volunteering is a good opportunity if you want to improve your spanish skills and already have some basic knowledge in that language. The tasks were easy & clear communicated and Alex was a very welcoming & lovely host ☺️☺️

Una experiencia recomendable para conocer La Fortuna y sus alrededores. Los horarios de trabajo se respetan y las tareas no son complicadas (en mi caso, limpieza general del hostel). Pude conocer y socializar con otras voluntarias y así hacer actividades juntas. Buenas instalaciones y me sentí segura en todo momento. 😊

Anfitrión y equipo de trabajo increíbles. Nos trataron como uno más y nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos en todo momento. Alex, una gran persona que entiende en todo momento el rol tanto del anfitrión como el de voluntario. Sinceramente una experiencia increíble que le recomiendo a todos.

Solo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento, a Alex, Nala, Juana, Buffet y a todo el equipo del Hostel, sin dudas hicieron que nos sintiéramos como en casa y la despedida fuera difícil. Sin dudas que este lugar siempre va a tener un lugar en nuestro corazón! Las horas y tareas todo exactamente como acordamos, súper recomendado! Gracias y más gracias!!

I absolutely loved the two weeks i spent here!!! the whole team is so welcoming, i truly felt at home here and although i barely speak any spanish, we managed to understand each other with google translate or gestures (would recommend to understand a few words though). i really liked that the tasks were clear, so i knew what to clean during my work and what had to be done. i could always take a break to eat or chat with other travelers and had great conversations while being here. biggest shoutout to francheska, keiryn, sandra and alex, couldnt have asked for better hosts and co-workers!

My experience at the hostel was wonderful. Alex and the other staff were so patient and helpful with anything we needed! The work was extremely reasonable and the other volunteers and staff made it easy and pleasurable to do. We had a couple days off a week, and were able to explore the nearby rivers and hot springs as well as enjoy the charm of La Fortuna! We will miss everyone there, special shoutout to Nala Patricia!!

Definitely recommend knowing Spanish pretty well before coming here!! Alex is very kind and the place was very safe and clean. I got sick while there and Alex was quick to get me medicine which was very nice!
