Agradezco profundamente la oportunidad de haber sido parte de este voluntariado. Fue una experiencia transformadora que me permitió aprender, compartir y crecer junto a personas increíbles. Me llevo grandes enseñanzas, momentos únicos y la satisfacción de haber contribuido, aunque sea un poco, a una causa que vale la pena. Gracias en especial a Dany e Isa que hicieron que esta experiencia fuera más placentera.

I spent the best part of two weeks in Hostel the hostel and really enjoyed myself. The team there are great, easy going and respectful. In terms of the work, I was given a lot of freedom to choose my hours as long as the work was done. It was a mutually respectful way of volunteering which was extremely kind of the hostel. I recommend them to anyone looking to volunteer.

Al hostal le falta mucho mantenimiento y atención, muchas veces hubo falta de servicios como agua y luz, las camas son bastante incómodas. A pesar de eso las tareas a realizar son sencillas, nada muy forzoso. Destaco de mi experiencia la gente hermosa que conocí, me acompañaron y apoyaron en mi estadía, gracias!

The manager, Erchim was great. He was there to help when I needed it and got me any supplies I needed to do my job. I have no complaints about the work requirements or hours. The hostel itself is in DESPERATE need of repairs and the owner doesn't seem too concerned with fixing the numerous problems contributing to its failing condition. My dorm was filthy (until I painted and cleaned the whole thing) and had CRAZY leaks when it rained. I got numerous bites from mites from the mattresses. I had to leave early because sleeping there was no longer an option. I would not recommend this place.
