The hostel was the perfect base for exploring Istanbul - I'm really grateful I got the chance to spend a few weeks there. Shoutout to everyone who works there, especially Bora for making sure that we all felt at home and for generally being a hilarious and fun person to work with. If you're looking for an immersive experience, this is it - you can hang out with other guests and staff during the day and night, and working at the cafe gives you a chance to feel like part of the actual city (plus it's a great crash course on learning how to make tasty drinks). I would go back in a heartbeat
