L'esperienza

Living in an old building with a large garden means there are always a lot of tasks to do. We have more plans than time for all our building projects and ideas. So this is why we need you! In general, we need help with the maintenance of the old water tower. That can be sanding, painting but also working in the garden, chopping wood or building a woodstock. We think the help is not too difficult and most of the time we will be there to help.

Dettagli del programma

In the winter we need wood to warm the house. We have a huge pile now that have to be chopped. We have an easy and save machine for that. But still, it can be kind of a workout for you. So if you'd like to build some muscle... In October your main job will be chopping wood so we are looking for a strong person.

Attività e turni

There will be a bike to explore Gouda and the nature around Gouda. If you like to use the canoe, that's also a possibility. The train station is only a 15 minutes drive away (by bike) so it's easy to visit the other highlights of Holland. We can tell you all about it when you are here. We would be happy to show you around in Gouda. If you are interested in learning Dutch or if you are curious about the Netherlands and the Dutch culture, we can teach you a lot about it.

Regole

We don't drink or smoke.
You will sleep in our caravan in the back of the garden so you will have privacy. Bathroom and toilet are in the house and shared. We eat three times a day and it would be nice if you will join us. I will cook for you but we are also curious about your favorite recipe and cooking skills!
