We expect volunteers to be punctual, friendly, and respectful. A typical day may include a short prep meeting, greeting students during arrival times, and supporting the learning environment by being available for casual English conversation and encouragement.

Volunteers will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students. By greeting and meeting students each day, you will help set a positive tone and make them feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

A typical day may include a short prep meeting, greeting students during arrival times.
1. Be Punctual
Arrive on time for your scheduled activities. Being punctual shows respect for others’ time and keeps things running smoothly.

2. Be Friendly and Respectful
Treat everyone—students, staff, and fellow volunteers—with kindness, patience, and respect. Positive communication is key.

3. Dress Appropriately
Wear neat, modest, and comfortable clothing that is suitable for an educational environment.

4. Speak English as Much as Possible
