Stayed 3 weeks at the quinta of Joao in progress. Had a wonderful time at the quinta. Joao is a very kind man, intelligent and also philosophical. Great conversations and also we had a lot of laughs and fun together. I helped him with construction activities on the quinta. The work was fine too, Joao uses his own methods, the oldskool way. Learned some extra building skills as well. Also cared really well. Breakfast together and also a warm meal after work, so no need to spend extra on that. The quinta is great, tranquil but also a short distance from the city center of Ponta Delgada.
