We're located in the heart of Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica - in the Blue Zone where longevity and happiness flourish!
💪 Ready for Real Farm Life?
This isn't your typical backpacker experience! We're building something meaningful that requires hands-on dedication. Expect to get your hands dirty, work up a sweat, and tackle genuine farm challenges alongside passionate, self-motivated volunteers. If you thrive on meaningful work and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, you'll love it here! 🌟
We offer you a cozy shared apartment among all our volunteers, where each person or couple enjoys their own private room. Our space features:
🛏️ 3 comfortable bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and 2 with single beds
🚿 1 complete bathroom with shower to share
📶 WiFi included to stay connected
⚡ Electricity included
🧺 Washing machine available
🍃 Conscious Eating
Volunteers must have adequate financial means for food purchases - while we share what we can from the farm, we cannot supply enough for your daily nutrition.
What we do provide:
☕ Coffee and basic ingredients (salt, pepper, sugar, oil)
🍞 Good bread when available
Special farm gifts depending on availability:
🥚 Fresh eggs from our happy chickens
🥛 Creamy milk from our loving goats
🥬 Fresh vegetables from our organic nursery
🚗 Adventures and Connections
Daily we travel through Nicoya collecting resources from bakeries and vegetable markets! Take advantage to:

We enjoy together:

🍽️ Welcome dinner to get to know each other and if you stay 3 or more week a farewell diner

Attività e turni

We expect your energy and dedication for 25-30 hours per week (minimum 5-6 hours daily, 5 days per week). We prefer a minimum of 3 weeks to create genuine bonds and real impact - but no pressure! Everything depends on how our collaboration flows.
⏰ Daily Rhythm
🌅 Morning shift: 7:00-7:30am start with animal feeding & care, then communal projects until 11:00-11:30am (communal projects may extend longer as needed to complete meaningful work)
🌴 Free time: Enjoy your afternoon for rest, exploration, or personal activities
🌇 Evening shift: 5:00-6:00pm for evening animal chores
✈️ Weekend Flexibility
Before your 2 days off, you can choose to complete all your hours during the morning shift if you'd like extra time to prepare or travel for your weekend adventures!

Your hands and heart will participate in:
🐾 Loving care of our animals (feeding, hydration, cleaning enclosures)
🌿 Cultivation and care of plants and vegetables
🔧 Creative maintenance of our spaces
🏗️ Exciting construction and improvement projects

🧹 Household Responsibilities (outside of volunteering hours)
To maintain our sanctuary clean and harmonious:

Weekly apartment cleaning (outside volunteer hours)
Washing bed linens and towels we lend
Put away your belongings after using common spaces
Wash dishes after cooking - let's leave everything sparkling for the next person!
