It was my first volunteer work in another country and it was better then I could think of! Kalpana is such a sweet person and she will help you as much as she can with everything. This counts for the other staff as well. The kids are sweet, enthousiast, playful and easy to bond with. You get everything you need, but don't expect too much luxury. From day one I felt at home! When I got sick, everyone (also the kids) was looking after me and taking care of me. I really hope I can come back one day!

I had the most amazing time at the project. The kids all have a beautiful spirit and are so kind and friendly. The staff are also so welcoming and help as much as they can with any task you need to complete. The journey to kalikot is long and can have its difficulties but luckily I did not come across any. Kalpana is very open and honest with the travel which I think is the best way. This is an experience I will never forget and I will mostly never forget the people because they truly make this experience special!
