Thank you, the eco village, for letting me stay with you! I couldn't have imagined a better experience for my second volunteering from the very beginning, they welcomed me into their family and made sure I felt comfortable :). Due to the cold season, there wasn't much work to do on the farm, so I helped out in the kitchen instead. Goma felt like a second mother to me how things are done. Not to forget the food! It was really good, especially the dal bhat. It felt like dining in a restaurant ;)! The sunset hike was amazing with a breathtaking landscape. Thank you for everything!!

I had a wonderful time staying with Kamal and his family ! Everybody was lovely and I learned a lot about Nepali culture. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a peaceful and authentic experience. The surroundings are peaceful and the views are beautiful. I had the chance to see the Himalayas! Because of the rain, we couldn't do much farm work, but I still enjoyed helping with small daily tasks and spending time with the family. They were very kind, welcoming, and always made me feel at home. It was a great experience to learn about local life and enjoy the calm of the mountains.

Really enjoyed my time here with Kamal and his family. They are very kind and welcoming, and even took me on a hike to look for wild mushrooms, which was super fun! Their home is stunningly beautiful, and the food is absolutely amazing and always fresh. I also had the chance to help them pick cilantro from the farm, which was such a unique and fun experience. I truly recommend this place 100% to everyone it's a wonderful stay!

Humility, Love, laughter and sharing delicious meals with other volunteers and the Mt the eco village family members is the absolute panacea for the monsoon downpour.

Amazing! The food was delicious and organic, the family was so kind, and there was lots of free time to relax, hike, learn yoga, etc. Also got to tend to the cows, swim in a mountain spring, visit the veggie farm, and go to the local village/temple! There likely would've been more interesting work in the dry instead of rainy season (bee farm was not active, lots of rainy days staying inside), and more volunteers too, so ask what season it is beforehand, but I didn't mind -- gave me more time to relax and hang with family/volunteers. Overall, worth it for an authentic mountain experience!

After two lovely weeks, I highly recommend staying with Mt the eco village! This was my first Worldpackers experience and what a great way to start. I had my own room with a lovely view of the farm against the lush, green mountains. The entire family is so welcoming and kind. They make you feel like both an honored guest and like just another member of the family! As everyone says, the meals are all so delicious and fresh. They are very considerate about giving you ample time to rest and relax and only doing work you're comfortable with. Thanks again to the whole family for such a lovely stay <3

I had a great time staying with the family, I got to work a bit in their farm, in which they grow almost all of their food, as well as cooking delicious food and learning about their lives. Everyone was welcoming and made me feel like a member of their family :)

I felt at home from the very first moment. The energy of the place and the family is genuine, welcoming, and deeply human. This volunteering experience wasn't just about giving, but also — and perhaps even more — about receiving. Volunteering at Mt. the eco village was such a nice experience. I stayed for 3 weeks and time zoomed by. Definitely recommend to other travellers!
