Stay in our cute seaside cabin! There are many maintenance jobs to be done on the house and the garden including sanding, painting, hedge trimming and grass cutting. Shelf & shed erection, Some dog sitting. It is essential that you are strong fit and helpful, ready to get stuck in.
You must be able to work independently & have good practical skills. Experience & attention to detail in a trade is essential

Dettagli del programma

The cabin has one double bed it is perfect for a couple or a single person.
5hours of work per day 5 days week. You must be able to work independently to get tasks done. Food provided on a help yourself breakfast & lunch. Dinner you will join in with family for evening meal. Must be ok with dogs (only 1 & she’s calm gentle) & kids.
Please note we are in a rural setting right next to the Atlantic Ocean. The weather varies from moment to moment!
There will be 2 days off to do as you wish. I can take you on some walking adventures, if time allows, Canoe/paddleboard available to use. On bus routes

Attività e turni

5 hours a day 9-3 (possibly some afternoons open to discussion) daily jobs include:
garden work, cutting grass, hedges. Depending on skill set, laying gravel making fences etc
House maintenance sanding, painting, building shelves etc if skill set
There will be some general helping with the household when required e.g. dog walking, helping with shopping, etc
We are an approachable & warm well travelled Friendly (v small) family who love meeting people from
Other countries & learning about different cultures & food/cooking.

Regole

I expect the worldpacker to be polite, respectful and helpful. Willingness and enthusiasm to approach all manner of tasks is essential. Rudeness, racism or aggression will not be tolerated and the contract will be terminated.
It is important you can be self-directed, a jobs list will be given each day &/or for the week. And a daily check-in on progress support will be given.
There is access to the mini kitchen and bathroom in the house at all times. At certain other times the main kitchen in the house will be out of bounds as it is used for work purposes.
