Manrique was the most generous and welcoming host! He taught us so much and made everything we did so much fun. I cant recommend volunteering for the project more, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Tuvimos una experiencia excelente como voluntarios en el proyeto. Manrique fue muy flexible con las actividades, adaptándolas a nuestros intereses y al clima. Las tareas se ajustaron a nuestro ritmo y preferencias. Además, nos llevó a un parque nacional cercano para ver la llegada de tortugas, una experiencia inolvidable. Aprendimos mucho sobre permacultura y disfrutamos de surf y clases de salsa. Muy recomendable.

El proyeto fue una experiencia increíble. Aprendimos sobre permacultura y Manrique nos llevó a hacer actividades como bailar salsa y hacer surf. Rodeados de naturaleza, te acostumbras a los bichos y disfrutas del entorno. Las tareas eran variadas, divertidas y nos acercaron mucho a la cultura local. Ideal para aprender, conectar y vivir de forma auténtica. PD: ¡Los desayunos estaban riquísimos! :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was amazing! Definitely recommend :-) Manrique is super communicative and it was great to see Nosara with the other volunteers!

I arrived near the project and transport to the site was promptly arranged by Manrique, we worked for 2-3 hours every day, surfed danced, and hung out most of the rest of the day. Manrique is a great dude and the other volunteers were great fun too. Capoeira is cool.

First time volunteering absolutely loved it, he was warm and welcoming showed us the best local places to go and great hidden gems and also taught us to sure and even the work was fun and fulfilling would highly recommend

Manrique is a phenomenal host. He warmly welcomes you into his home and into his daily life activities allowing you to have a more authentic experience. Manrique showed me much kindness and gave me insights into his own personal philosophies and local practices that were truly inspiring. The work is varied and encourages you to try new things. Also the surf can be really good! Overall an amazing experience!

This was my first time out of the country, first Worldpackers, and first time working as a content creator—and I'm grateful that Manrique was my host! I learned to surf, flew a drone, went Latin dancing, and gained tons of new skills. The host's website had super helpful info, communication was great, and I always felt safe. Breakfast was amazing, the local community is warm and welcoming, and the ocean was awesome. I would love to come back!

I had the most amazing time here. Manrique was such a great host. We had loads of activities to do and the work was good fun!We spent most of the time building the clay house which was really cool. It's a bit of a walk from the beach but you can hire tuktuks to take you around and there's a supermarket just down the road :)
