So much work to share here at the agriturismo in the woods! And, you shuold know, it's hard work!
Some examples:
Week days:
Take care of woods (cleaning) & vegetable garden (pamper, harvest & preparation);
Wild herbs to forage and prepare;
Beekeeping, honey processing;
Various farm chores,(ie chicken coop, firewood cutting etc);
Cleaning;
During weekends:
A hand in cleaning!

Hi, we are Francesco e Giulia running an agriturismo in the woods of Lecco.
It is an excellent opportunity to live close to nature, in connection with a simple way of life. Deep in the wood, next to a fresh stream, under a friendly mountain, heat by firewood, surrounded by wildlife and plants.

We have a lot to do with farming and taking care of the wood: a vegetable garden to take care of, wild foraging, a chicken coop, cutting firewood, beekeeping, to process all the Mother Earth's gift into products we can use, share or sell, and so on.

In a agricoltural context, even if small, there's always something to do!

Attività e turni

According to the season's works and to the daily necessities, the chores may vary day-to-day.
During the week the main activities would be collect and cut firewoods, work in the vegetable garden, cleaning and preparing the spaces - it can vary a lot.
The pivotal activity is the weekend is helping with the agriturismo shift, which it would mostly be in cleaning, tiding up, and maybe some preparation.
We ask for half a day of work (5 hours), leaving half a day of relaxation and free time, and a weekly rest day.

Regole

We live in the woods: we are only reachable only with a 20 minutes walk (for backpack and big transports, there is possibilities for a lift, but we need to schedule!)

The life here is quite rustic:
- we heat spaces and water with firewood, so we need to align to shower :)
- the city is not far, but it is mostly reachable by foot (there is also a bus that will help with a great deal of the way, if needed); we do have a pick-up that can reach the place, but it's only used for transport and work; usable for lifts when it moves, not available on-demand :)
- we're in the woods: be prepared to meet insects, spiders, etc!
- internet available!
- we like peace and quiet in dark hours
- music instruments welcome
