My previous experience at Oceans was so nice, I had to comeback ! Once again, work is easy, tasks are straightforward, schedules are respected. Place is still as clean as always.. you should definitely volunteer here

Very comfortable Hostel in an excellent location in Seoul. 🌃 The working time is always respect and Ocean always gives opportunity to choose working days. With is good to explore Korea outside of Seoul. You can meet a lot of international friends And there is good common area and Kitchen very well equipped.

Volunteering at Oceans Guesthouse was a really nice and fun experience. The Guesthouse was in a very nice location, because it's close to Hongdae but also in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. The work is not hard, but it is important to know that the standards are high. However, it is okay to make mistakes at first, Ocean and the other volunteers will always help you with anything you need.

I volunteered for 1mo there, and it was amazing ! The work was easy (hostel work) : cleaning common areas, rooms and beds, and doing reception. You can make some mistakes at first, but Ocean and other staff are always here to help you if needed. Also, communication through WhatsApp was smooth ! I must say that Ocean maintains very good hygiene standards, so both guests and volunteers can appreciate a nice, clean hostel, with a super warm atmosphere. Location is also good, near everything you need, and near Hongdae! I definitely recommend this place for volunteering. I already miss it !

The guesthouse location is very convenient, close to two stations (line 2 & 6), Mangwon market, and the Han River. There are many restaurants, shops and cafes within 10 minutes walk. Hongdae is about 30 minutes away. The cleaning work can be tiring at first, but you get used to it quickly. Reception is chill, as long as you pay attention to details. The volunteer's room is good enough, not mixed with guests, which is great for privacy. Be aware that the management communication is pretty direct and a bit rough at times.

Volunteering at Oceans Guesthouse was a really fun and rewarding experience. Working hours were completely fine and once you were done you could just finish for the day. The location is perfect, its close to Hongdae but still in a very chill neighbourhood. You will sleep in the Team dorm and theres also other volunteers to bond with (2 team dorms in total). The team was great and we had some team bonding outings as well! Id recommend volunteering at Oceans Guesthouse for everyone whos outgoing and maybe loves to go out a bit here and there. :)

The hostel is so fun and friendly, I had such a good time while being there. Ocean was a great host, always kind and flexible. Working hours were good, depending on the day we worked reception or cleaning, and everything fits what was agreed upon. This experience is perfect if you're outgoing, energetic and love meeting new people:) Also if you like partying; the location (and people) are great!!

Had a great time at oceans guesthouse, the time went way too fast!! I really want to come back some day i already miss it. Lot of great other travelers who are all down for a good time, location is 20 min walk from Hongdae so perfect if you like to party. The work is sometimes reception shifts and mostly cleaning shifts (beds/bathrooms)
