Mylene was an amazing host. She has a lot of passion and knowledge about nature and I learnt a lot about gardening, eating wild food, and living off grid. She is also very caring, compassionate, and fun to be around. Her love of music and dancing was infectious and I was very inspired by her way of life. We did a variety of jobs from building raised beds for the garden, working with wood and cooking amazing food. Definitely recommend if you want to get in touch with nature and discover the local life of the Pyrenees 💫🌞

Working at Mylènes was a truly magical experience. She welcomed the other volunteer and I with open arms and made sure to include us in her life. The tasks we did felt impactful for Mylène and the state of her place. She made sure we were ok with every work she proposed. You can feel that her place is really her baby, that she takes a lot of care of. Therefore we often worked with Mylène on the projects, which was very nice. I would recommend, this joyful stay to everyone, who wants to work on meaningful permaculture projects and get in touch with the nature and the locals (per hitchhiking).

Mylene's permaculture project is such a happy and magical space that encourages the growth of all plants and animals alike (including us humans!). The work was exciting and guided by our interests and energy levels, and she frequently checks in with you. Mylene made sure to include the other volunteer and I in her adventures and activities, which were a blast. The accommodation was comfortable and the food was always delicious! The area is easy and safe to navigate via hitchhiking, making it fun to explore. I highly recommend! HMU with questions! *Prepare to hike up a steep hill to the stay*
