I had the best time at the hostel, and it really lives up to its name! My days were super the hostel, and Denisse and the whole team made me feel so welcome from day one. The tasks were easy, and I had lots of free time to explore the island. Whether it was visiting ethical elephant sanctuaries, checking out night markets, singing my heart out to karaoke or meeting the cute pigs on Pig Island, every shift was an adventure. I cannot recommend this enough 🫶

I had an amazing time at the hostel in! The job can get a boring when the weather is bad because there is not many people around. But overall was a good expirience!

My experience at the hostel (Lamai) was wonderful. The working hours were always respected, and the tours offered were absolutely worth it. The rooms and overall accommodation were very comfortable (same rooms as the guests), and the volunteer team - along with Denise's leadership- made the stay fun. I loved sharing time with the local team, were lovely and very kind. Teaching Yoga on the beach was very fulfilling and enriching experience. Keep in mind that if you don't eat spicy food, meals won't suit you. So count with extra money to cover food (Lamai only). ❤️🫶🏼✨
