I had an amazing experience at the hostel. The accommodation is super nice, and the bunk beds feel spacious and private with the curtains. You have plenty of space for cooking, studying/working, workouts or just chilling. The location is excellent for exploring Uvita, and you'll have more than enough time to do so between working shifts. So exciting getting to know people from around the world. Sander is an amazing host, I felt so welcome. Definitely going back if I'm ever in the area again!

I would 100% recommend volunteering at this hostel!! I truly had a lovely experience during my time here. Sander is great host - he has clear, reasonable hours, many recommendations for places to visit and things to do during your free time, and is always open to feedback. I loved the location - it is close to the town center, making it convenient for shopping, and right in the middle of the waterfall and river to the East and beach to the West. I met lots of wonderful travelers, and felt safe, comfortable, and respected my entire stay. If you are looking for a pura vida experience, it's here!

The hostel is the kind of hostel where almost every guest extends their stay. It's airy, clean and very easy to spend time relaxing in, which makes for a great social atmosphere. Sander is an excellent host who clearly communicates the simple tasks for the day and has some great tips for Uvita. He generously provides anything you might need to be comfortable, even bikes and a surfboard. After some morning cleaning, I'd pop across the road to the local fruit stall, ride through the surf town to the beach, catch some waves and be back in time for the afternoon check-ins. Pura vida.

El hostel es un lugar increíble. Las instalaciones son super cómodas y agradables, el trabajo es sencillo y Sander es un host muy agradable y flexible. Es un lugar en el que podrás disfrutar tranquila del entorno y conocer gente de muchos lugares ya que al ser un hostal muy pequeño te permite conectar con los huéspedes muy fácilmente. Además tienen dos perros y una gata de los cuales me enamoré y para mí fueron un plus! Si te gusta pintar y el arte también puedes aportar tú granito de arena en la decoración del espacio. Volveré sin duda en mi próximo viaje a Costa Rica ☀️🌴

My partner and I had a wonderful experience working at the hostel! Sander provided a welcoming atmosphere, and I felt trusted and respected during my time there. The tasks were clear and easy! Sander involved us in the making of weekly work schedules, so I felt that our needs were taken into consideration. The vibes were super laid back, which I appreciated! Sander was very helpful in ensuring that the volunteers had a fulfilling experience Uvita, providing recommendations and sometimes driving volunteers to local attractions! It was a great experience and I would return! :)

Sander and Cristina are lovely. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we felt good and comfortable. The hostel is beautiful and comfortable. You can see all the love they put into building it. It's also well-located. I 100% recommend this experience. Uvita is a beautiful and peaceful place. If you're looking for a place to connect with nature, disconnect from the virtual world, and be treated with lots of love, this opportunity is for you! TODO excelente! me gusto bastante el lugar, fui con mi pareja y nos ofrecieron habitacion privada muy comoda. los anfitriones son muy amables. de hecho yo estuve enfermo con fiebre y sander que es el dueño me llevo al hospital. la verdad ellos son un amor y transmiten buena energia. no puse 5 estrellas solamente porque no complieron con lo que supuestamente ofrecian (y fue por lo que me postule aqui). que eran que pusieron que ofrecian tablas de surf y solamente tenian una que la usaban todos. y 3 dias libres que cuando llegamos ahi nos quisieron dar solo 2. lo demas excelente!
