This experience was truly unique. I had the chance to immerse myself deeply in Indian culture and see how people really live, far from any touristic perspective. Amit, the guest house owner, and his family welcomed me in a way that made Varanasi feel like home. This city shows you things you can't imagine, and being able to discover it with local people, and film my documentary with them, was priceless. Huge thanks to Pankaj and Amit for this life-changing experience.

Varanasi was my first step in India and I feel so grateful for my time at Siddhivinayak Temple Guesthouse. I could explore the city with Amit and two other volunteers, I couldn't expect a better immersion in the Indian culture. However, the taks and the price were different from what is written here. I think it's because they are not used to have volunteers and I hope it's gonna be more clear for the next ones. I really recommend this place, Amit was very friendly, flexible and we had nice conversations together. I wish you the best 🙏

I easly dive in Varanasi culture, their way of living, meeting so different people and enjoying the stay. Pankaj is very nice and kind host. I was there for a month so I had time to explore almost everything. It's good for getting a different way of seeing and living things. I met 2 girls who were volonteering too and have fun. It's a good way to explore their culture. For the girls from a girl, be careful little bit.

I could walk down for 20 minutes from the accommodation to the main attractions of the city. As mentioned, I was provided a basic dormitory to stay, but the washroom is not closed to the dormitory (and claustrophobic too for me). I would also appreciate a better water facility for the guests as the locals consume ground water directly. The tasks are easy but more clarity is required. I talked to Pankaj (very kind & helpful) and before coming to Varanasi, but worked with his partner Amit (welcoming but local). However, I enjoyed talking to Naman (Amit's son) who helped me explore the city.
