In this position your job will be taking care of the dog and spending time with them, you can expect to cuddle and go on walks in the beautiful nature of northern Norway. If you want to you will also have the opportunity to learn how to train them (This is optional) While here you will learn a lot about dogs body language and how to handle and meet their needs, we hope for people willing to help give our furry guests the best stay possible.

My stay was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I got to grow as a person and learned so much. I felt very welcomed and the hosts tried everything to make me feel comfortable. The place does have some minor issues, like the bathroom. I was a little overwhelmed by the arrival of responsibility I had early on. I didn't have any experience with dogs, but Konstance replied to all of my questions really fast. The nature is astonishing, looks like a winter wonderland. If you like dogs and nature, apply here. I'm so grateful I got the chance to volunteer at the shelter. <3

The place was rather messy, some things remained broken (washing machine, bathtub, doors...) and my fellow volunteers and I almost haven't been taught the work at all BUT I did have an amazing time discovering Norway through this place: you get to live close to a beautiful forest, surrounded by georgeous mountains and, truly, this landscape with take your breathe away every single day! If energetic, the dogs are really lovely as well 💕 Also, know that what I mentioned is on its way to be fixed so to sum up, if you love dogs and nature I do think YOU'D BE A TOTAL FOOL FOR NOT APPLYING THERE!!!

I've just finished my experience here at the dog hotel, and I couldn't be more satisfied with how it went. The dogs are absolutely sweet, they're all very well-behaved, and it's a pleasure to spend time with them even outside of working hours. The job basically consists of taking the dogs for walks, playing with them in the garden, feeding them dinner, and occasionally cleaning the box. The place itself is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking nature — every time I went outside, I was amazed by so much beauty. Kostance is very kind and always available for anything you might need.

I had the best experience volunteering here at the dog school. I spent most of my time walking and playing with the dogs and helping with some smaller tasks like cleaning. All the dogs are so so sweet and it's a delight having them around all the time. The school is surrounded by stunning nature so if you like being outside, going on hikes or just enjoying some peaceful time for yourself, this is the perfect place. The host family, especially Konstance, is very lovely and I felt welcomed by them right away. I'm extremely grateful for this experience and hope to be back!

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at this dog school in Norway! Most of my time was spent walking the dogs staying at the dog hotel and helping with small daily tasks. The dogs were all so sweet and well cared for it was such a joy to spend time with them every day. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for long walks and peaceful moments outdoors. The family was very kind, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable right away. If you love dogs, enjoy being in nature, and appreciate some quiet time and independence, I would definitely recommend this host!
