My experience at the the school was great, I had a real chance to get in touch with the local community and the real rural Cambodia. I was welcomed really kindly from Sophea, Charany and their kids and I was treated as part of the family. It was amazing getting to know the children at the school, learning their culture and teaching them some basic English with the help of the local teachers. I recommend this experience to whoever wants to experience the local cambodian life and be fulfilled with the kids joy!

I would first like to thank my host Sophea, his family and colleagues for their unwavering hospitality. I truly felt like one of the family. The lodgings were comfortable and the food delicious. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive with weekend activities, often with a meal waiting on my return. Working with the students and fellow teachers never felt like “work.” It was natural, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding. The students impressed me with their intelligence and curiosity — a true reflection of the the school's dedication to high quality education. I was sad to leave.

I only stayed here for one week. Therefore I felt like I was mostly observing and not being very helpful, since I first had to learn about the the school and how it works. It was still very nice to meet the kids. They were super fun and interested. Sophea is a friendly welcoming host who always tried to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Sopheas wife is super friendly as well. She is also a great cook and prepared delicious meals (I am vegetarian and that was not a problem at all). I would recommend staying longer than I did to really have time to meet the kids and and help the the school.

We recently had the opportunity to volunteer at this local the school in a rural village. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and felt like at home with Sophea and his family. We were supporting a local teacher at his English class, and we tried our best to make a positive impact with the children. The room is basic but ok and the food is very good. We also participated in community events and went to a house warming event. One of our highlights during our stay, were the children, they are so kind, adorable and with enthusiasm to learn English. Thank you Sophea

I've had an amazing two weeks at the the school. Sophea and his family welcomed me with open arms and made sure I am comfortable at all times. I was teaching classes on my own from day 1. I really enjoyed this as it allowed me to connect with the kids on a deeper level. I also attended a wedding, a birthday party and a house warming party - all three amazing experiences, I've had a lot of fun meeting the local community and learning about their culture. the the school is in a rural area so a driving licence would have come in handy but the family took me wherever I needed to go. Thanks Sophea!
