I'm an italian girl (46y ) who moved from Rome to the magical Lapland ❄️🌲. I have around 50 dogs 🐕, including Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, and need help with their daily care 🐾. Tasks include caring for puppies, assisting with training, joining dog sledding adventures in winter 🛷, and outdoor maintenance 🏠. We are looking for help with our house dogs in the daily care, puppies, training, or dog sledding in the winter. The work is very different between the winter and spring/summer seasons. Our high-season work is demanding and challenging due to the weather and few daylight hours. There are daily husky safaris and the daily management of cleaning and food, shoveling snow, and wood, cleaning hotel rooms, and helping in the restaurant. During the summer the work with the dogs is quieter but always challenging (feeding, cleaning, walking, running in the dog area, petting) until the autumn with the daily training work. There are also a lot of maintenance works in the structure (grass cutting, fences, kennels, painting, wood for the winter, path maintenance) as well as the restaurant and hotel when there are customers. The refund varies based on the season and length of your stay.

During the winter season, the work is paid with free accommodation and a monthly salary.
From spring we are looking for volunteers compensated with free accommodation and reimbursement of expenses based on your stay on our farm. We prefer people for medium-long stay

The helper works about 5/6 hours a day. depending on the request and season. Helping us with our house dogs, playing with puppies, feeding, training, and supporting us during sleddogs, restaurant and hotel, and daily maintenance.

Hours worked can vary depending on the length of stay in our place or about the season. Winter season is always busier.
