Dettagli del programma

I am looking for someone who is physically capable to carry out all aspects of the role, interested in providing care (bonus for interests in disability justice), and is comfortable providing basic medical care if indicated (training will be provided).

You will learn lots about invisible disability and complex, fluctuating long term conditions, as well as infection control.

I can provide free housing and laundry, as well as meals on the days I'm well enough to cook. I can also provide groceries for your meals if you decide to cook separately.

Must abide by COVID precautions listed under Rules

Attività e turni

You will be cooking 2-3 meals per day according to meal plan (recipes will be provided), which sometimes involve bulk cooking. You will be tidying up, doing daily cleaning, and performing weekly deep cleaning. You may be asked to monitor my activities and symptoms and facilitate rest periods throughout your stay. If I become acutely ill you will take on a more active role in managing my symptoms (again with training). You will also provide vigilant infection control especially if you plan to socialise with people outside of the household during your stay.

Regole

No drugs or alcohol.
Quiet after 10pm - I have neighbours and sometimes need to go to bed early.
No parties.
No inviting people over unless I approve of the guests.
Communicate all problems and ask questions as needed - I can work with mistakes or questions but I can't work things out unless I know what needs to be done.

Mandatory COVID precautions - You will be asked to do 2 LFTs upon arrival 48 hours apart and if positive, you will be asked to wear a mask in common areas, take regular covid tests, and sanitize surfaces as you go (or at least let me know if you're too unwell to do this). You will also be asked to do above if you feel unwell, regardless of LFT results. All masks, tests, and cleaning product will be provided to you. I would also highly appreciate if you wear a mask in public areas for 5 days before arrival and maintain masking in public until you finish this job.
