Seeking help in garden and in the fields

I spent three weeks working on the farm and it was a truly great experience. As someone who has spent a lot of time on farms before, I found the work very fair and the accommodation simple but completely sufficient. If you're not used to dirt or the presence of animals such as bats, mice, or cockroaches, you might need a little time to adjust. Francine and Geoffrey are generous, open-minded people, and I enjoyed our many conversations. Helping with the move showed me that the new farm will become a great place. It's great to be reminded of how valuable resources like water and nature are!

The experience was incredible. Incredible people showed us new ways of living and interacting with nature, ways of working. They shared everything they had. Highly recommended. The work, although hard at times, was super bearable, and the food was delicious. Thank you 🫶

This volunteer position is good for those who want to experience the farm work in Australia. The host was very welcoming, sharing everything they had with the volunteers. The working hours are respected and the tasks are not hard. Though the conditions of living may be unusual for some who are used to a different kind

Francine is a welcoming host with a beautiful property, she is fair with the hours but the tasks were a bit random at times. She is currently moving farms so I didn't mind helping out but would have been nice to outline this beforehand.

Great for travelers looking to dive into a real sustainability project. The host is welcoming and tries to make your stay comfortable, though the setup is different from what most are used to - and that's part of the charm. A car is useful, as there's lots of nature around. My visit was during an unusual time, so tasks felt a bit random. I'd suggest clearer task planning and better explanations of the systems and future vision.

I recommend people with farm work experience to apply for this place. They're all nice people, welcome, and have everything you need. You can get two days off per week. Cooking with other packers for everyone. You should always pay attention to the water and never waste it as it is all from rain. Surly they are tasty and clean. There are many small creatures the project house and snakes uphill, but it's always safe if you make noise during work and wear boots. Though sometimes the weather and lack of water make them anxious, it's easy to understand and gain empathy. Nice place for right people.

Leyis English not too good she means we haa possum ( sleeps in day goes feeding at night, ) and a microwave who are tenants and the chickens come around on verandah sometimes.. yes the water is important ( but we ve had a good weather so far) because we only have water from the sky here. Even though we have many water tanks overseas people are used to turning on a tap and water flowing continuously forever.. once our tanks run out from overuse we have to buy poison water from town ( fluoridated
