I had a lot of fun with some amazing volunteers I had the pleasure of meeting on my stay. The hostel is clean, spacious and with everything you need. The location is absolutely amazing. Central, close to everything, but it gets kind of noisy at times. Unfortunately, a couple of the staff there have a passive-aggressive behavior, which does not contribute to a nice environment. It was especially weird that at times some staff felt like if the volunteers were having fun, they were not doing their job. After all, volunteers are also there to enjoy their time. Most people were very nice.

Volunteers are definitely encouraged to enjoy their time here. The exchange is meant to be fun and enriching, but it’s also important to respect the basic rules that help everything run smoothly.

Definitely loved the team and especially the other volunteers! I would recommend that future volunteers have a basic proficiency in Spanish to communicate with the hostel staff and most of the other volunteers. That being said, I had lots of fun and the team was respectful and accommodating when my phone broke and I got sick :)

Tuve una experiencia increíble de voluntariado en el hostel durante dos semanas. Las tareas eran simples y estaban bien asignadas, lo que hizo que el trabajo fuera eficiente y agradable. El equipo era extremadamente tranquilo y acogedor, creando un ambiente armonioso y motivador. Fue una experiencia maravillosa donde pude contribuir y aprender mucho, dejando una huella positiva tanto en la comunidad como en mí mismo. Altamente recomendable!

El staff y los voluntarios fueron más que amables en mi estadía, conocí a gente muy hermosa en el hostel (L), me llevo hermosos recuerdos. El trabajo puede ser en recepción, bar o cocina, a mi me tocó bar y fue divertido que me enseñaron a hacer tragos típicos de acá . El lugar es enorme y tiene espacios comunes muy amplios y cómodos. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que, al estar en medio de una gran ciudad y ser un hostel tan grande con muchas actividades, si lo que buscas es calma quizas no es el espacio, pero si te gusta el movimiento y la gente, es un gran lugar! Super recomendado!

The hostel es un hostel genial, las habitaciones son cómodas, la ubicación perfecta en pleno centro de Miraflores, tienes de todo cerca; la comida muy rica y abundante pero lo mejor sin duda es el ambiente. Se convive con viajeros de todo el mundo, los voluntarios que conocí buenísimas personas, así como el resto de staff. Agradecer principalmente a Mariella con quien compartí las noches, aunque todo el equipo es súper acogedor y amigable. Estuve ayudando en recepción de 20h a 1am 6 días a la semana, las tareas son muy sencillas; sin embargo, se observaba mejor ambiente en cocina o bar. 🖤🖤

Volunteering with the hostel was a great experience to learn some local culture, immerse in the Spanish language and to practice your bartending skills. It was fun and we often participated in hostel events: dancing, games, etc. The chef's made some brilliant meals and the sleeping quarters were adequate (though I would suggest they add some privacy curtains, which is becoming more common and appreciated in hostels). Overall, great time and accommodative staff!

Excelente ubicación, las comidas (desayuno y almuerzo/cena) eran muy variadas y deliciosas! Aprendí mucho en el bar, gracias a mis compañeros que fueron muy amables y me ayudaron bastante: Pablo, Jossimar, Michael y Margot!! El hostel es bien tranquilo y puedes practicar inglés debido a la cantidad de viajeros internacionales. Solo recomendaría tener cortinas en las camas por un poco de privacidad :( pero todo súper bien! Es un grato ambiente
