I had an amazing time volunteering at the the surf the surf the surf camp. The work was fufilling and a fair exchange, the living accommodations were incredibly clean and comfortable, and Sid and the other staff were warm and welcoming. It truly felt like home and the opportunity to surf and meet new people from around the world was unmatched. Truly and incredible experience and I hope to be back soon!

Volunteering at the surf the surf the surf camp was a truly lovely experience. The hostel and surf school is run by a team of warm, open-minded individuals, and I felt instantly welcome. Sid is an excellent manager: he lays out clear instructions and makes sure that the work feels light, collaborative, and straightforward. As volunteers, we had plenty of free time to surf, explore the town, and form beautiful friendships! I would recommend this experience in a heartbeat, and hope to be back soon!

I loved my time here & would highly recommend it to anyone! The work is straightforward, well organised and clearly communicated. Sid has created a welcoming, collaborative, family vibe amongst the volunteers and it's been lovely getting to know so many great people from around the world. I've had plenty of time to explore Sagres, which despite being small has a whole range of activities and events happening throughout the week and a lovely community to get to know. I've also appreciated being able to join the surf lessons when possible. I can't speak highly enough of this experience!!

I had an amazing experience at the the surf the surf the surf camp! Led by Sidzinho, the team is always welcoming and full of good vibes. I spent seven wonderful months helping with the repair and renovation of the place, and Sidzinho was always attentive to both the staff and the guests. The work schedule is fair, which allows plenty of time to enjoy everything Sagres has to offer. I totally recommend this experience! Ps: obrigado sidzin pelo pesto rojo e por todo o queijo hahaha sid é o melhor manager

I had the most incredible time at the the surf the surf the surf camp & Hostel. Sid was a great manager who made sure that he did everything he could to support us as workers and to ensure that we were having fun and not being overworked. Sid made sure that we were comfortable approaching him about any situation & he created a safe working environment. I met an amazing group of people and have left with lifelong friends. The staff accomodation was great, I loved to be able to draw my black out curtains and switch off when I needed to. The food was incredible at the hostel. Best volunteer experience ever.

I had a wonderful time here. The other volunteers were amazing, Sid is a great manager, and you really get to know the locals and feel apart of the place. I loved using the boogie boards and the bikes. There's so much to do here and the hostel provides a lot for the volunteers. It was a really wonderful experience

My time at the the surf the surf the surf camp & Hostel was amazing and unforgettable. My tasks were super chill — preparing breakfast and sometimes doing check-ins — and there was always another volunteer helping out. I had plenty of time to surf, hang out, and go out, which made the experience even better. The best part was definitely the people: the guests, the host, and the other volunteers created such a fun, happy and welcoming vibe. The hostel feels really cozy and familiar, so saying goodbye was tough. It's the perfect place to make memories with awesome people, and I'd come back anytime if I could.

The best place to volunteer! Sid is a great host, and the rest of the crew just as amazing. I did the social media; so much fun and lots of flexibility to work whenever it made sense. The surroundings are insanely beautiful, and to surf in them is just incredible. Can't recommend this place enough.

My time at the the surf the surf the surf camp was phenomenal… truly a home away from home. My time here was made so special by the people I met and formed connections with. Sid is an amazing host, the exchange was beyond fair and expectations were made very clear from the beginning. Incredible incredible, I would recommend to everyone.
