I had a wonderful experience in Mexico helping with the school. Veronica and Su were waiting for me at the airport with hugs and a smile. They made me part of the family. I felt like a v.i.p to them the whole time! The school director was lovely and the students were very happy to try "yoga for children" with me. I met generous volunteers of all ages from the u.s.a. and other countries. We had a blast visiting tourist attractions together. I feel so lucky to have this as my first worldpackers experience. I would definitely recommend it. I hope to return !

This was my first time traveling with a friend through Worldpackers and it was great! I was initially a little nervous but our hosts Vero and Su were accommodating and welcoming. Since we visited Puerto Vallarta during the holiday season, we were not able to work with the kids as we had originally expected but we were able to volunteer a little bit with the teachers. We got to visit a variety of places in Puerto Vallarta and learn more about Mexican and Peruvian culture through conversations with Vero and Su. They made us feel like part of their family in their beautiful home. Muchas gracias!

I had the most incredible time at the zoo in huancayo. Gabriela and her parents are so kind and I felt welcome from day 1. Working at the zoo was such a great experience and I learnt so much. All the staff were great and only one person could speak English so it really helped me to practice Spanish. The only perhaps downside I would say is that I only worked at the zoo until lunchtime. Afterwards I found there isn't much to do, but was perfect for me as I have exams when I get back so I could revise. There are some great tours available for the weekends though! I loved my time here :)

Wonderful experience! Poye has two locations - one in the organization and the other in Puerto Vallarta. Be sure to confirm the location they need assistance with and be ok to discuss the options that work best for you. I stayed two weeks at their location in Puerto Vallarta. I worked with the 3-5 year olds teaching them numbers, letters, and colors in English. Su and Verónica worked with me on my Spanish, healing rituals, and showed me the city and secrets of PV. I'd suggest any and all to come and support a great cause with wonderful people. I'd love to come again.

My heart is so full from this experience. Vero and Su are AMAZING! From the moment we met (and hugged) at the airport, I felt like family. I was greeted with hugs and it was just so easy to speak with them and be around them. The house , pets, and Lucy are so beautiful and it is so hard to leave them. The school and teachers are special and of course the little kids were loving and sweet. I am so grateful to have been able to share time with these people in this beautiful place. I only wish I could stay longer.

The volunteer experience, housing, people, and flexibility were amazing! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful in getting us familiarized with Huancayo and our volunteer sites. Every day they offered us an interesting tour or activity. This was a really great first experience, and I recommend.

There is no words to describe this experience. I stayed two weeks with Veronica's parents, Carlos and Rosa, who were extremely welcoming and caring. I learned a lot about animals at the zoo, and the team over there was patient and very nice with me. I was sad to leave after two weeks. Huancayo has a lot to over, and there are very interesting day trips with tour agencies. If you want to discover the Peruvian culture, and meet amazing people, this adventure is for you!

Veronica and Suilma were very nice! They provided me with a great stay and I really loved my experience once I met another volunteer and was able to hang out with them. I think some things were not planned as well as expected but I'm sure the next volunteer will have better communication with the host:)

We had a wonderful experience with Vero and Su! Vero y Sulima han sido unas gurús increíbles. Me sentí en casa y me acogieron tanto que me sentía parte de la familia. Vero se involucra muchísimo en ayudar y tiene muchísima vocación, es una mujer sumamente fuerte y grande. Me sentí demasiado feliz con ellas. Sulima tiene una conexión impresionante con los animales y con la naturaleza, me inspira a ser como ella.
