L'esperienza

My name is Fiona, together with my husband and our 5 yo daughter, we live in our own small Nature lodge in the middle of the forest, 50 km away from Santa Marta (remote location).
Our daughter would love to have a companion for interactive activities (eg. swimming lessons, painting, gardening, dancing etc.)
We would love someone to help us with tasks related to the project, such as social media posting, guest interaction, gardening and more.

Dettagli del programma

We are looking for 1 FEMALE volunteer, no couples.

The main idea is to have a companion for our little daughter. She goes to kindergarten 3 times per week in the morning. We would love someone to organize activities mainly in the afternoon or the days that she is at home all day long.
She is very independent and fluent in German and Spanish and understands quite a lot of English.

We are a nature lodge in the middle of the mountain (remote location), our project is very small and managed by me and my husband. We would love someone to help us with tasks related to our project. If you love to learn how to cook, that would be great. You can also interact with our guests if you like. Max. 5 hours per day, mix of child care and help around the finca.

***Our finca is in the mountains, 1.8 km (1 mile), on a dirt road accessible by 4x4 and motorbikes. Motorbike taxis can always be arranged so you can get to town.
Walking down to the main road is 22 minutes.

What do we offer for you?

We are a sustainable project and you can learn everything related to reforestation, beekeeping, solar energy, gardening, etc.
We are currently planting our avocado forest and already have a plantation of cacao, which should start producing this year.
We also love woodworking and all kind of DIY projects.

Attività e turni

Activities and timings are flexible, we can talk about everything.
But our thoughts are swimming lessons, singing, dancing, gardening, handcraft, art, music etc.
The idea is to do on average 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
