I really liked my stay at the farm, getting in touch with nature and socializing with other volunteers. The part that I enjoyed the most was with the animals, big lovable dogs and little cutie cats. The weather was not the best when I went, but the place, although it was partly outdoors, was very cozy. Chiara really loves this project and you can see it everywhere, a place to be yourself and be connected. Thank you for this experience✨

As a first project i got to see how a community works, which i found very valuable the place seems cozy especially i imagine in warmer days /lots of hamaks oooh and dont get me starting on the kittens/ , and during my stay there had been quite some advancement at the construction so future volunteers will have it even more cozy haha lots of love to Puglia <3

The farm is very much a work in progress Chiara and her support team of Fede and Ally (@ time of writing) are wonderful and the whole experience engaging, be warned at present (October '25) things are a little 'Robinson Crusoe' a wonderful outside hand constructed shower adds to the charm (but maybe not so appealing in the winter months)🥴and the toilet is currently a temporary 'porta-loo' shared with the builders who are renovating the house, this will be relatively short term and replaced once the house is complete. All in all a fantastic experience and I hope to return to see it complete.

Chiara and the other community contributors at Theriake — the brand of the project — did an amazing job at involving each volunteer. Being able to volunteer here means being given the opportunity to join in the development of an eco-conscious project with beautiful things in its horizon. I am honored to have been a helping hand here at Theriake, and I look forward to my next time here. I volunteered here during August, a busy time of year for the region of Puglia. Other times in the year may be more quiet.

Chiara is an amazing, passionate, and strong individual. If you are open minded, you will learn so much from her. The farm itself has a wonderful energy about it that is healing for the soul and mind. I came with a void within me that was fulfilled and healed here. I made memories and connections that will last forever. Thank you Chiara for being so intentional and amazing! <3

Theriake is a unique place, a visionary project set in the wonderful the project countryside. Here time passes with different pace, in harmony with nature and its balances but also with excellent glasses of wine and moments of sharing during delicious lunches and dinners under the sun and stars. During my stay I worked in the permaculture garden (really well-kept and well-made) and I took care of the animals, and for any doubt or need I could always count on Chiara, Justyna and the other fantastic people who live at Theriake, I always felt supported and I learned many skills. My experience at this ecopharm was wonderful! Its a great place to connect with yourself and nature, the sunsets are beautiful! Chiara's vision and the project are very inspiring and exciting. I would hace appreciate a bit more organization regarding tasks and schedules, and i think i would be helpful if they were more specific about some responsabilities. In general, if you didnt knew how to do something they explained to you :) Overall is a very exciting experience and opportunity

Pase 2 semanas en la granja de Chiara. Me hubiera gustado estar mas tiempo pero ya tenia otro viaje planeado. Sin embargo, considero algun dia volver a visitarla. La experiencia fue un 10/10. El proyecto de Chiara es muy interesante y me causo mucho placer poder formar parte de su desarrollo!

Having Ivo with us was a pleasure. Wish he could stay more with us. He did not know agricultural practices but he was a fast learner and proactive. Organized. Enjoyed his spirit and company. See you soon ! Hope you come back and visit us.

I had a great and very rewarding time with Chiara on her permaculture farm. The average day consisted of getting up around 7am, working for 5 hours (with lots of breaks) until lunchtime and then spending the afternoon by going to the beach, chilling in a hammock, or wandering into town! I got on well with everyone; Chiara was relaxed and flexible regarding what needed to be done and when. This would be a great placement for you if you have particular skills (e.g. cooking or gardening) which you want to devote all of your time to, or if you want to try a bit of everything (like me).
