Welcome to our volunteer program in Barcelona, designed to bring an engaging and lively atmosphere to our hostel guests. As part of a new initiative, we’re focused on creating memorable experiences through organized events and nightlife activities. Volunteers play a vital role in hosting pre-parties, leading pub crawls, and ensuring guests have a fantastic time during their stay.

In exchange for your efforts, you’ll receive:

Free accommodation in a shared dormitory room.
Daily breakfast at the hostel.
The chance to be part of a dynamic and international community.
This program is ideal for outgoing individuals who love nightlife, are reliable and proactive, and thrive in a social environment.

Attività e turni

Volunteers will work 6 shifts per week, focused entirely on nightlife activities.

Daily Activities:

9:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Hosting Pre-Party Events

Set up and organize pre-party activities at the hostel to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Interact with guests, promote the pub crawl, and encourage participation.
11:00 PM – 2:00 AM: Leading Pub Crawls

Guide groups of guests to top bars and nightlife venues in Barcelona.
Ensure guests enjoy a safe and exciting experience.
Manage group dynamics, including handling any challenges that may arise.
Volunteers should expect to work approximately 30 hours per week, with free time during the day to explore Barcelona.

To ensure a positive experience for everyone involved, we have the following rules and expectations:

Punctuality & Reliability:

Volunteers must arrive on time for their scheduled shifts and notify management in advance if unable to attend.
Professionalism & Respect:

Treat guests, staff, and fellow volunteers with kindness and respect.
Adhere to hostel rules and policies at all times.
Night Shift Commitment:

Volunteers must be comfortable working night shifts and maintaining high energy levels throughout.
Positive Attitude & Initiative:

Be enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a great experience.
Safety First:

Prioritize guest safety during events and pub crawls. Volunteers are responsible for ensuring everyone adheres to group guidelines and behaves responsibly.
Communication:

Keep an open line of communication with the management team regarding any issues or suggestions.
Behavior:

No excessive drinking or inappropriate behavior during shifts. Volunteers must act as role models for guests.
Language Requirements:

Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages are a bonus but not mandatory.
Commitment to the Program:

Volunteers are expected to complete the agreed-upon duration of their program and contribute fully to the role.
By joining this program, volunteers agree to adhere to these rules and fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and enthusiasm. In return, we promise an enriching, fun, and unique experience in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
