Everyone was so lovely and kind! They make you feel like family and are very flexible! They are open to ideas to make things improve! And with the students, it usually feels like you're talking with friends! I'll be back soon! It's truly one of my favorite experiences!

It was an amazing experience that brought me so many good things, especially new friendships and knowledge. Harry, Alex and all the staff welcomed me so kindly that I felt comfortable from the very first day! The school provides opportunities for Vietnamese students to meet and talk with volunteers as an extra activity . Everything is well organized — they explain your tasks in advance and support you with information about the lessons. All the students are committed and eager to learn — they're super nice! The accommodation is good, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Go there and enjoy the coliving!

Had a nice experience volunteering at this homestay! Everyone I taught during my time here were really nice. The staff are also very friendly. The cleanliness of the homestay could potentially be improved a little. Other than that, would recommend!

Everyone is really friendly! You sleep in a dorm with other volunteers and you have plenty of free time to discover the student area of Hanoi. A bus to the center takes about 45 minutes. The tasks are truly just practicing speaking with the (mostly adult) students for a few hours each day. Would definitely recommend this experience!

Mie and Sean are warm, kind and welcoming people. Every morning there's a team meeting to make sure everyone knows what's expected of them. The tasks are mostly preparing materials for classes, sometimes having an online support session or sitting in with a group class. Meals are all home-cooked and the hosts even made sure there were vegetarian options for me. The house is state of the art and incredibly clean. There are bikes available, so you can explore the region and all its coffeeshops. I recommend biking to Duong Lam! It's a perfect place to have few weeks of "calm" :)

I had a truly memorable experience at the coliving and Homestay. Most of the students were engaging and eager to learn about different backgrounds and cultures. The lessons were easy to manage, and I appreciated the freedom to start each class with a new topic. During my free time, I got to know the people around me better and connected more deeply with the locals. We laughed, had fun, and shared so many great moments together. Above all, I'll always keep in my heart the lasting friendships I made and cherish all the wonderful moments I experienced there. Stay awesome! xoxo

Please be motivated to practice English with learners! the coliving experience lives on in the coliving as it strives to engage with international partners and become natively multilingual ala Malaysia/Singapore. Volunteers with native/near native fluency will be greatly appreciated as the local students/population are willing to invest a lot into achieving the country's goals, opening doors of opportunity, and getting language access to the global community. The hourly requirements are minimal and passed by so fast (it was so fun)! Be pro-active, take care of things, ask questions!

First of all, this is my second time I volunteered here for a month, I really feel like a family here because everyone is super nice, I learn so many things about Vietnamese culture while helping others practice english. About homestay, It's one hour bus ride from the city center, and 30 mints by Grab bike. Nice Cafes and restaurants are around here. The schedule is pretty flexible like free-talk with Vietnamese people in the evening.

Staying at this homestay was one of the best experiences I've had. The people were so kind and genuine—it felt like I was part of a little family. Every moment here was full of fun and laughter, from the peaceful picnic outings to the everyday little adventures. Teaching the kids was such a joy! Some of them were the sweetest, and some… well, let's just say they weren't exactly fans of me (haha), but that's what made it all the more unforgettable. If you're looking for a place with heart, connection, and real experiences, this is it.
