I traveled with my friend and my girlfriend and we had a life changing experience. First days can be tough, especially if you don't have any experience working directly with animals, there are lot of things to learn but it's an impossible task. Day by day you earn confidence with all the animals so don't be afraid of them, they are friendly and loving. We got to know each personality and we bond a lot with some of them. If you are vegetarian Manfred's cooking is not for you. But, Sabine's meals are delicious! Go to Lama Ose! Is a nice experience to be down to earth & appreciate countrys life

Sabine and Manfred cook deliciously; you always have access to the kitchen to prepare your own food if you want to. The tasks you need to do are feeding the animals and truly taking care of them—it's a learning process, especially if you don't have experience. They respect the established schedules. All the animals are beautiful, and you grow attached to them very quickly. Flip flops are necessary to wear inside the house

I was at the farm for three weeks, but I had so much fun it looked like just a couple of days. Volunteering here is a great deal to deeply connect with nature, but also to immerse yourself in Bavarian culture: Sabine and Manfred brought me very often to folkloristic parties where I had the opportunity to speak a lot of German. Tasks are easy, shifts are respected and falling in love with their animals is so easy! Last but not least, Manfred's cooking was exceptional. I definitely recommend this experience and hope to come back as soon as possible.

My experience at Sabine and Manfred's farm was peaceful and full of personal reflection. Although I came as a volunteer, I received much more: a cultural exchange, kindness, and patience. The farm, surrounded by animals and nature, is the perfect place to disconnect and gain clarity. I felt very welcomed by their friends. Manfred's food is delicious, and his apple liquor is absolutely 🤯. Would I recommend it? Of course, I absolutely would! I would love to return if I have the chance!

The farm has a variety of different animals and tasks to do. The day is normally divided into two shifts: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It's a very unforgettable experience and I loved spending time with the animals! Normally, the hosts cook for us which is very nice and the food is delicious. Although they eat meat from the farm, they can also cater to vegetarians. Communication was a bit tricky in the beginning, but I figured as time passes it gets better :)

The work can be tiring but it's simple, the location of the farm is beautiful and quiet, the hours of work are pretty much respected, and Manfred was almost always cooking for us. The farm has a lot of animals other than lamas and camels (horses, sheep, goats, chickens and more), and some of these animals are used for meat. Manfred and Sabine were overall quite nice hosts, I personally didn't like the strict rules, and that we had to pay for laundry, but maybe that's a cultural difference. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience and I recommend it to anybody who loves animals!

I enjoyed a lot my stay in the farm! I learnt about caring for a wide variety of animals and i spent a lot of time in the nature, the peace you feel there is truly pleasant! The hosts, Sabine and Manfred, have a fabulous sense of humor and they are really funny and generous, i felt completely part of the house and i'm very grateful for that! The food also was amazing! The task are really simple with animals, on the morning you have to do the cleaning, taking outside, and then in the afternoon feeding and taking animals back inside. I would definitively come back to this place.

Sabine and Manfred were welcoming hosts, and their home and landscape are truly stunning. The animals are a joy to work with, though you must be confident around large ones. The work environment is strict for safety reasons, and the hosts told us they might yell during stressful or fast-paced moments which is part of the work culture. At times, we were asked to work beyond agreed hours during busy events. Overall its a good experience if you love animals and have handling experience, this can be a rewarding place, but it's not for everyone.

The place is really nice, is a rural area with pine forest and a lot of other farms. The animals are adorable, the camels, the llamas, the goats and cats are just really sweet. I wasnt prepared for the size of the horses, they are REALLY big and this was a lot scary for me. The job consist in handling the animals, which means clean them, their poops and make sure thay have food/water and put them to the fields. We also had a few walkings with the llamas. Not an easy job, but also is not hard. But it can be very demanding on your mind. Good food. Sadly it didnt work out so well for me.
