My experience at the hostel was very fun. Everyone who worked there was very personable and kind. The location Cancun is prime if you like to party and have a good time. Expecically it being directly on the beach and next to the club centre. I stayed a total of 3 weeks and unfortunately there were a few problems. After my first week they moved me to breakfast shift which was not the agreed upon job. As a night owl, it was very hard to function at 6:30 in the morning. Thanks for the experinece the hostel it was great for my first work exchange!

I definitely learned a lot during my time in the hostel! I met great people that made my time simply wonderful.The location of the hotel is ideal and beaches and shops are usually at a 1minute walk. The team had amazing people who make you feel welcomed all time and will be there for any help or advice.I suggest more work on the food for volunteers. I felt my dietary restrictions were not fully respected a lot of times. For the last week, I was put on a job that was not agreed on the first day. I suggest more communication with volunteers about times and tasks rather than imposing it on them

Fue mi primer voluntariado fuera de mi País, llegué a un lugar muy organizado con un equipo humano hermoso (desde voluntarios hasta empleados). el hostel es un hostal con un ambiente y energía muy elevada, si lo que buscas es música todo todo el día y mucha fiesta en las noches entonces el hostel es tu lugar... Sólo podría sugerir dos días de descanso y aumentar una hora de trabajo al día o reducir a 2 semanas mínimo de estadía, pues mis días dependían del turno y un sólo día de descanso no me permitió salir a conocer lugares alejados pues debía volver el mismo día.

This was my first work exchange ever, and wow, amazing! The staff are all super welcoming, the hours respected, and the accommodations are so nice (not every hostel has clean bathrooms like this). I made some amazing friends with other volunteers as well as some of the staff. Love ya Perla! Also, everybody is more or less bilingual so anyone can practice Spanish and/or English here!

Mi experiencia en el hostal Monkeys fue la mejor, mucho más de lo que esperaba, de conoce gente de todo el mundo y se pueden hacer muchos amigos, los horarios están bien, hay buena comunicación con los encargados y muy bien situado a minutos de la playa, es un muy agradable lugar, la comida que te brindan es a cargo del chef y abierto a ideas nuevas para ir mejorando, recomendado para realizar voluntariados, yo fui sola y nunca estuve sola

Toda la experiencia en el hostel fue perfecta! El hostel es muy animado, los empleados son todos tiernos y la ubicación es la mejor posible. Las comidas son riquisimas también!! Como trabajamos solo 5 horas por día, tenemos mucho tiempo para disfrutar Cancun. Recomendo esa experiencia! Pasé muy bien y ya extraño a todos!!

Imagina un lugar feliz? Este es el hostel! La energía es contagiosa, es un ambiente muy feliz. Pasé tres semanas increíbles, se lo recomiendo a todos, es una gran experiencia. Quiero agradecer a todos en el hostel por toda la amabilidad y hospitalidad, todos son muy hermosos y especiais. Días felices e inolvidables que quedarán grabados en mi memoria y corazón.

Mil gracias por la oportunidad, ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida. La pasé increíble, el hostel tiene una energía especial, las personas son maravillosas, se generan amigos para toda la vida. Realmente no se arrepentirán de ser voluntarios en el hostel, la pasarán increíble !
