Offering an entirely private luxurious apartment (see photos) onsite at our countryside Estate in Umbria, Italy (FREE WiFi, Netflix, and basic kitchen supplies like salt and pepper, olive oil, cookware, and utensils provided) in exchange for 5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week. NO MEALS PROVIDED. You will be very autonomous and will work alone on our property with the guidance of the owners. Use your days off to explore our enchanting area.

My first experience as a volunteer was very positive. Communication with Kaila was clear, and everything went as agreed. She was kind and reliable, picked me up at the agreed location, and took me to the supermarket when needed. The place is beautiful and peaceful, and the tasks were well-defined. I worked in the garden without difficulties and enjoyed nature, the silence, and the stunning landscape. I stayed in a lovely and comfortable apartment. I rented a car and explored the region, visiting borgos and Perugia. I thank Kaila and Ludovico for their hospitality and wish them success.

Desde un inicio senti un trato de inferioridad hacia el voluntario, no decian “gracias” ni “buen trabajo” ellos querian que uno trabajase las 5 horas de manera dura y sin siquiera con un buen trato ni motivacion. El trabajo es muy cansador, no da tiempo a hacer algo mas en el dia, su excusa para exigirnos era que estabamos en un “lugar lujoso” y deberiamos “agradecer la oportunidad” y el lugar la verdad es que es como cualquier otro, las ollas y sartenes malos, muchos insectos, la ducha mala y la cama se caia. Te sacan en cara siempre el precio de la casa. Me fui antes, Kaila no dijo ni adios

We have hosted countless volunteers across many channels (helpx, workaway) and have never encountered such unmotivated and privileged volunteers. We were gravely disappointed in Vittorio's and Antonia's work ethic and lack of respect for our time & property. We asked them to leave after 1 week even though we had agreed to 3 wks. They were always late, deliberately working slowly, on their phones all the time, taking breaks every 20 minutes, and they broke/ruined multiple garden tools.

Not recomendable at all. They seemed too nice at the beginning and then they were not. we don't know why this property is on worldpackers they don't have the values and good treat to volunteers . You don't form a bond of community. It's not a volunteer job they want you to work as a professional gardener and they not even say thank you to you. There are lots of more opportunities in this app try to look for another one :) . Besides that it's not a luxurious apartment there were insects every day . It's just a regular and common place. Nice views.

I loved staying with Kaila and Ludo and had an amazing experience! They were very nice and always respected my wishes regarding working hours and were very flexible with that. I could sleep in, or work early, take breaks etc. After work I enjoyed the stunning views outside or from the entire apartment that I had to myself with a bathroom, a kitchen and a bedroom. Kaila was so kind to send me the guide she provides the guests with so I was perfectly informed about the villages and beautiful views around. It's important to be traveling with a car as you need it for groceries or to get anywhere!
