We (Damien, french, Samantha, English and Teogan our little toddler) live in a beautiful part of the french Pyrénées with amazing hikes on our doorstep with the convenience of a fully functional town with all the amenities you need. We are renovating a large building which in part is a backpackers and in part is our home. We have a project to extend our flat so need help on firstly demolition/destruction and then on building and decoration/renov

Not enough words to describe how amazing my experience was! Sam and Damien are an incredible couple. The work is so simple for only a few hours a day, meaning there is so much free time to explore the Pyrenees! They cook amazing nutritious food and had the best recommendations for hikes! My room was so lovely and guests were always super friendly

I had an amazing time with sam and damien! they were always quick to suggest the best hiking routes and activities near town to fill our free time, and the work was very chill and well-communicated !! lunches together were incredible, and i felt that we were respected and cared for as volunteers :) i would recommend time at this hostel to everyone, the energy is so comfortable and friendly always !! i hope to visit again someday

Thank you so much Sam, Damien and little Teo for having me in your hostel team! I stayed for a month volunteering at the hostel, and it felt very homely. We would work in the mornings, doing housekeeping, cleaning, small renovation tasks and/or some babysitting the lovely little Teo. Merci Damien for teaching me painting, grouting, and of course, how to blitz clean a bathroom block to get it sparkling ! Having lunches by Sam together on the terrasse, and chatting out in the sunshine was always the highlight of the day! They were very generous with suggestions for hikes and activities. Merci !

I wanted to leave you a raving review but was too late :( Mackenzie is just a shining light, so willing, smart, helpful, interesting and super human being! Genuinely one of the best volunteers we've hosted in 8 years

This was my first volunteering experience and it was even better than I expected. I loved staying there! Sam and Damien were both great! The job was pretty easy, cleaning, housekeeping and looking after the cute Teo who I really got to care about. We had a delicious lunch together everyday. During my stay I met so many incredible people from all over the world and had some fun social nights and days. Also became great friends with the other volunteer. I was supposed to stay there for 3 weeks but extended it another 2 weeks. The hostel felt like a home away from home. Really would recommend!

Fue una muy buena experiencia. Damian y Sam son muy agradables, siempre todo fue con respeto. El trabajo era bastante relajado y dejaba mucho tiempo para salir a recorrer o hacer alguna actividad en la montaña. Tuve una mejor experiencia gracias a que pude compartir con algunos huéspedes y todo fue genial.
