We’re looking for an animal lover to help care for 6 horses and 3 dogs during the winter. Your tasks will include cleaning stables twice a day, turning horses out and bringing them back in, feeding and watering them, and doing groundwork in the arena. For the dogs, you’ll walk them, take them to the beach with me weekly, and keep them company during my work hours.

Living with Victoria was a really lovely experience! She was very welcoming and really gave me a home. I'm grateful for all the opportunities I had to learn from and work with her and the places i got to see. You do have to commit to the working part, being careful and responsible with the horses especially the younger ones, but it was such a great opportunity getting to live with foals. It was definitely a bit chaotic but all the more fun for it! Thank you Victoria :)

Victoria is amazing. We had such a wonderful time together. She is super flexible with schedules and work. Beyond her great hospitality and experience, she also took us to the beach. And since i play guitar, she even brought me to a pub so i could perfom. All of this was done with genuine kindness and from the heart. She truly wants to make every moment unforgettable. I will always carry these memories with me. Her adorable dogs are full of love to give, just like her beautiful horses. I can only be grateful for the incredible time Victoria gave us. I really hope we can meet again Victoria!

I stayed there for 6 weeks and I had an amazing time with Victoria and her dogs and horsies. I didn't have any previous experience so some days were tougher that the others but I learned so much and it was very fun. The dogs are super cute and cuddly ( and also super noisy sometimes)))) but they make the experience so much more special. I enjoyed learning how to take care of horses and Victoria gave lots of opportunities to help you gain as much knowledge and confidence as possible. Victoria is an amazing host and she does her best to listen and help.

I wouldn't recommend staying here I was there for three days and it was too much. The host was mistrusting and would go on aggressive rants as a way to explain things, would act like I was going to do it wrong before I did anything. The whole time I was there I felt like I was walking on eggshells since there were so many little things that bothered her it was hard to keep track of. She would be really rude and try to make me feel dumb if anything was slightly not what she wanted. After I left I got a somewhat incoherent message accusing me of stealing but I did not take anything at all.

The girl was utterly dangerous around young horses not only to herself but to my beautiful horses as well!
I think she was having difficulties and just wanted to go to pubs and have a vacation not work at all.

I spend more than a month at Victorias and it was a great experience. She is a good character, welcoming and energetic. The dogs are cuddly, they love to go on walks and are a bit crazy (but in a good way😉). I didn't have any horse experience before, so there was a lot to learn and I did. Victoria is not the best at explaining, which was a bit frustrating sometimes, but she will try her best to make you understand. It was fun to have the chance watching her adjust horses. Because of her experience she can tell you a lot about horses and their behaviour. She is fun! I can 100% recommend it😊
