Me and my AUS boyfriend spent two weeks volunteering at PEA the reserve and it was greater than we expected. First because it's not an institution but a local business, where I was able to live along local and amazing people. They would always make sure that we were alright, would take us into town if we needed to buy something. Most of their visitors are Peruvians so it's a real local experience. Living in the Park was a privilege, it's a huge natural area that was "our yard" for the days we've been there with all the freedom, plus the cute (not so) wild animals. I definitely recommend!

Mi experiencia como voluntaria en PEA fue sumamente enriquecedora. Tuve la oportunidad de desarrollar un proyecto de refugio para animales, lo cual fue un paso crucial en mi carrera. Me sentí acogida desde el primer día por personas que me trataron como en casa. Agradezco profundamente su apoyo y la oportunidad de aprender tanto. Cada día me permitió crecer, no solo profesionalmente sino también a nivel personal. Recomiendo esta experiencia a quienes quieran conectar con la naturaleza y contribuir a su protección.
