One of the most most incredible volunteering experiences! Thanks to the Zul, who is really caring, I had a chance not to just volunteer in the cafe, but also there have been a lot of events outside, so there was always something interesting to do. Even on the days off we were taking trips together, which was super cool. I learned a lot about the coffee culture. Sometimes it was busy in the cafe, some days more chilled. But Zul is really surrounded by great people and I felt like a part of a family.

I'm so grateful my unforgettable volunteering experience at the guest house. It's a truly beautiful place with the kindest people I've met who now feel like family. Zul went above and beyond to show me and involve me in the lovely local community of Pagoh as well as the wider coffee community of Johor. His attitude, energy and values make him the most incredible host. I learned so much, had so much fun, ate the best meals and had so many amazing conversations that I'll never forget. I can't thank Zul and his family enough and I can't wait to return to my second home! Saya sayang the guest house! 🌿🦋

I had such a wonderful time volunteering at the guest house. Zul is such a kind and caring host and went out of his way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. He and his family welcomed me like I was one of them and I felt instantly at home. It is the perfect way to experience he local slow life in a the Malay countryside. The whole team is amazing and so passionate, and I never felt dumb for asking questions or wanting to learn something new. I feel so lucky to have experienced a community like this, and wouldn't hesitate to come back<33

Absolutely unique volunteering experience. It didn't feel like volunteering more than it was like coming home to your old friends. Zul is the most incredible host who always went the extra mile to make sure everything is cared for, and I get to experience an authentic, truly amazing time living the slow life in the Malaysian countryside. He took me on so many activities and events, and I was so lucky to meet many locals and have unforgettable conversations The work at the guest house is so much fun, the team is like a family and best friends in one. Would go back in a heartbeat and recommend!

I had the best time volunteering at the guest house! The team were super fun to work with, and the work is very chill and enjoyable. Zul is a great host, and made me feel at home and comfortable during my stay. Had the best time exploring the area and doing different activities, as well as enjoying the relaxing and chill lifestyle. A great opportunity to learn about coffee and Malaysian culture.
