* Paint rooms neatly and thoroughly
* Fix or replace toilet seats
* Install or repair shower heads and shower doors
*Unclog drains

Requirements:
Some experience in painting or general maintenance
Ability to work independently and take initiative

Dettagli del programma

You will work 25 hours a week, this is flexible and possibly will not include weekends unless there is an emergency. The house maintenance manager, is here to help and guide you. We will organize your shifts to be as flexible as possible.

Attività e turni

Preferable to help paint hotel rooms. and some other areas in the hotel. You may be given more responsibilities if you know how to do extra maintenance jobs.

Regole

*No drinking or drugs or phones while you on a shift. Please no drugs in general.
*We have a uniform shirt, it is to be worn during your shift, please respect that.
* When working please wear jeans, trousers or shorts that reach the knee.
*When you aren't working please do not come behind the reception desk / bar area.
*We offer free water, tea and coffee throughout your stay but unfortunately other drinks and any snacks from the bar do need to be paid for.
*Breaks are 15 minutes please respect that.
*The shift is 4 hours if you turn up late you will be finishing late.
*Respect the other world packers you will share a room with.
*We don't accept couples here anyway but please no PDA in the public areas especially when in uniform.
*If you want to borrow a bicycle from the Hostel please ask Maryke to borrow it.
