Sonia was very kind and welcoming, the hours were respected and there was a lot of flexibility, would definitely recommend aligning things from the start and making sure communication runs freely! it was a very good time!

My time at Sonia's bnb was incredible!! It was stunning and just a perfect place to experience a true Italian getaway. I had a rocky start as Sonia can be a little scattered, but once we got to know each other better it was smooth sailing. Sonia truly cares about you and her guests and wants you to have the best time. Come here to relax, meet great people, and eat some gooooood food:) Thank you Sonia and Uscio!

La mejor experiencia que he tenido hasta ahora. Sonia es una excelente anfitriona y te hace sentir parte de la familia. El Hostel es pequeño y acogedor con unas vistas hermosas y una gran ubicación. Las tareas son sencillas y Sonia es muy flexible con las mismas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente !

I fell in love with my time at the hostel. The location and views are beautiful, with lovely gardens and outdoor seating to enjoy the sunset or sunrise. Sonia is very inspiring with such a big heart. We built a wonderful friendship, and I really enjoyed working with her. You have a lot of time to explore gorgeous beaches like Camogli and Zoagli. Sonia will treat you like family, cooking traditional Italian pasta for everyone! and she shares so much history, and many incredible local restaurants, stores, and festivals! You also make new friends all over the world with the visiting guests. 🥰

I loved staying at the hostel and working with Sonia. The B&B is the perfect escape to soak in the beautiful mountain view, spend time at the beach, or in neighboring towns that you can get to by train or bus. This was a very local experience and I would recommend brushing up on some Italian before coming, but Sonia and most of the guests speak very good English. Sonia helped me truly appreciate the local culture and took me to traditional events, dinners, and always shopped local! Once you understand what the daily tasks/expectations are, working with Sonia is fairly simple.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel. Sonia gave me a true cultural experience, she taught me to cook and was very giving and fun! It was a very chill place to volunteer at and I recommend to everyone. Especially those needing a nature escape, love food and who love the beach. I had so much fun here ((: <3

I loved every minute of working with sonya at this hostel! She is a great leader, respects your down time, and is great fun! I would recommend to anyone wanting to really get the feeling of local Italian culture to come volunteer here🇮🇹🇮🇹

I loved my experience at the guest house! Living in the mountains was beautiful and refreshing. Sonia is very reasonable with work and she is accommodating! She often treats her guest like family! Each day I had plenty of time to go the beaches or hike! The hostel guest were all amazing and I loved bonding with them! I would recommend this experience :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my two week in Uscio exploring the local towns, villages and hidden gems around the area. The work was fair and easy to follow along with and I had a magnificent time sharing my day with other hostel guests and helping out our Host Sonia. I felt comfortable with all services readily available so everything ended up being a pleasant stress free time :)
