My time in Golfito was truly incredible and immersed in nature! We had lots of adventures, I met other volunteers, and Fernando is super nice, understanding, and flexible (with schedules, dates, work, activities, etc.) Every day was so fun. But don't expect everything to go exactly as planned because the environment is very dynamic, so schedules and activities can change (tours may be canceled or added last minute, or you may be asked to help with different tasks as needed). Lineth's cooking is so good and the family is overall very welcoming and warm. I would definitely volunteer here again

This was one of my favorite experiences! If you like adventure and nature, this place is for you. Every day is not the same. Some days you work at the finca on some projects and other days Fernando takes you on the tours to learn how things work and make sure everything is ready for the tourist season. A few tips - make sure to drink lots of water, get some snacks as you'll be very active and hungry, bring clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet and dirty ;) With this experience, I got to live the local culture, go on adventures, and explore a lot of places - Pura Vida 🌺

This experience was unforgettable.Fernando took us on free jungle tours where we practiced rappel and discovered amazing places. I also helped at their little school, and I loved the teaching part , it really pushed me out of my comfort zone and kept me close to Costa Rica's incredible biodiversity. Linneth cooks delicious dishes three times a day, their daughter is super sweet, and Damien, the student with them, was also great company. What truly makes this experience special is the family's kindness and generosity. People from CostaRica are so warm, i can only recommend this experience😇

My experience here with Fernando and his family was everything I had hoped for and MORE. They made me feel so welcome and always included me in activities. Be prepared for lots of adventure! Only come here if you are in love with nature. Linette makes great food and she fed me three times a day every day. I will miss everyone here and busco the dog. Muchas gracias por todo! 🫶🏼

Volunteering in Costa Rica was truly one of the most unique experiences of my life. I would recommend this to anyone looking to discover the real essence of this beautiful country. It allowed me to fully immerse myself in the Tico culture. During my time there, I had the chance to explore some incredible parts of southern Costa Rica. I really loved the people, the nature, the food.. everything! This experience is not only about helping, but also about growing, learning, and connecting to nature! My time at the camping has been incredible. Fernando would regularly take me and the other volunteers on tours around the area, allowing us to explore parts of the country you wouldnt normally see as a tourist while also meeting other travellers! The accommodation was good and Linneth cooks some great food. I would definitely love to come back to the camping if I ever return to Costa Rica!

Está experiencia ha sido muy gratificante para mí, es un tipo de voluntariado que soñé y que nunca pensé que podría encontrar. Es un voluntariado de aventuras, mil aventuras cada día, que te hará recorrer muchos lugares preciosos, mágicos y diferentes del the camping del país de Costa Rica. Trekking, canyoning, Tarzan swing y mucho más es lo que encontrarás aquí. Sin duda ha sido un voluntariado de 10! Soy una chica aventurera y no tenía ninguna duda de que me iba a encantar la experiencia. Fernando y Linneth son maravillosos y te sumerges en su vida costarricense. Gracias por todo!!

I have had an AMAZING time in golfito, a beautiful region in Southern Costa Rica perfect for nature lovers. im thankful to have been able to learn countless new skills from fernando, one of the best tour guides in the region ! living w fer & his family was the best as it provided an authentic cultural immersion i couldnt have experienced as a regular tourist. i enjoyed learning about costa rican culture, history, & foods during my stay in golfito. im confident whenever i come back to Costa Rica i have a family who will receive me w open arms, gracias fer y lineth por todo, abrazos 💓
